Great fun for all the family I loved all the animals and was amazed by the rhinos! Suitable for all ages and I would recommend.

I have been to South Lakes Wild Animal Park twice now and it does not fail you for a great day out. Lots to see and the animals look like they are well looked after. Great for adults teenagers and kids of all ages. The walk ways make it easy for you to take prams and buggy's and there is a good picnic area and lovely gift shop well worth a visit.

The owner of South Lakes Animal Park was at the park and walked around the restaurant while we were there. He is genuinely interested in customer feedback.
The monkeys are fun to watch before going to the restaurant - just to make a comparison!

Very animal and visitor orientated, animals all look happy and well cared for, keepers all very dedicated. Super aviary. The Tigers (Sumatran and Amur) are beautiful. The owner has founded a charity to promote the survival of the Sumatran Tiger.

South Lakes Wild Animal Park is by far the best zoo I have ever been to!

It cost £7 to get in, and it was worth every penny. We saw all the animals in their natural habitats. They had Lions, Tigers, Cheetahs, Hippos, Monkeys, Bears, and Bats etc. They have a section where the animals walk around with you. It's split into various countries i.e. Australia had Kangaroos and Wallaby's. Lemar's sit by your feet, and Emu's walk past you demanding food, which is quite scary! At feeding time ...
