We rented a house from Taylor's that we kept clean and looked after to a high standard. On departing they are trying to charge is nearly a thousand pounds from our deposit to repaint rooms and professionally clean Despite the fact the house was left clean. They provided photos of thing that were undated the size of postage stamps even the solicitor said are not identifiable. I have just completed on my house I finally sold though Taylors, the service from beginning to the end was wonderful. My husband and I were kept updated regularly with feedback along with the progression of the sale and after having used a local agent I was a bit cautious of using a national agent. They have completely changed my opinion and if I would speak to anyone who needs to sell their house. I would say go to Taylors. (read more)

No comprehension of customer service. Constantly had to chase for updates on my sale. Never received call backs and was constantly being apologised to and then when challenged they advised that the service received was good and that the contract was not a service contract. A bunch of plonkers and boys in suits doing mens jobs. Do not use unless you have had your brain removed and do not expect to receive any service level for very high fees. Shop elsewhere for better fees and service. (read more)

This particular estate agent has got to be the worst I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Now, considering I have had made many property transactions both as a buyer and seller since the early 80's I believe i am qualified to comment on whether an estate agent has my interests at heart or purely to make maximum commission and profit. I am in the belief that Taylor's definitely fits into the latter category. On the particular property I was purchasing, they continually pursued me to... (read more)

Tried to foist me with a fixed commission at above 2% on the asking price, IT IS INTERESTING THAT THIS TACTIC HAS BEEN REPORTED BY OTHER PEOPLE. Then they said it was a misunderstanding, you can't have a misunderstanding on something not discussed. The customer service in my opinion is dreadful. They don't answer emails, and then tell 2 entirely different stories as to why the manager of the St Neots branch wasn't available.I put my price up and since then it has not appeared once in the 2... Totally unprofessional, uncaring and immoral. All they care about is maximising profits for themselves, them don't give a damn about their buyers or sellers. Their staff do not communicate with each other, the so called office manager Richard has no control over his staff. He has a very poor grasp of what it takes to be a customer facing manager. The "Manager" and I use the term loosely, of the Aylesbury branch of these comedians, has the IQ of an ape. Obnoxious, rude, arrogant and a complete disgrace to his profession. Tried to purchase a property through them but this idiot has completely ruined it. House was over-valued by £12,000 according to the survey, but he disagreed. He advised the vendor to re-market, which he has now done. This guy could'nt sell food to the starving. Avoid at all costs. (read more)
