I thought Arm & Hammer should know that the extra whitening toothpaste was extremely abrasive and left my mouth with a strange 'dry' feeling that did not go away. (The Arm & Hammer whitening toothpaste, on the other hand, which I had used just before switching to the 'extra' had no ill effects). I was told by my dental hygenist that my reaction could be due to the foaming agent in the toothpaste.
I have not used the toothpaste for 1 1/2 weeks now and am still in discomfort. My hygenist advised that it could take 2-3 weeks to return to normal. Looking forward to that!
I am hopeful that Arm & Hammer will take this review seriously. I think that there is a limit to the benefits of some of the agents put into toothpastes these days. Putting in still more of some abrasive or foam encouraging elements to make the product even more 'effective' may not be such a great idea.

Arm & Hammer Extra Whitening Toothpaste has a nice taste, and it feels like a real clean product.
The length of whitening is the only bad point, but overall it is a top product!- Read kerryvns's review (33 words)
