Contacted several associates by phone to verify transactions made on-line and got conflicting information. Was told I would need $50 to withdraw money and close account, also told I would pay a $3.00, yet another associate said the transfer would be free. After transferring money, agreeing to pay the $3 fee, the transaction never went through. Customer service was terrible - long periods on hold, then even a supervisor disconnected me, transferred to wrong department and disconnected again. I was a CountryWide customer and was used to free transactions and an easy-to-use webpage. Bank of America could not offer the same.

Excellent banking with Bank of America, everything is professional and simple. Widely accessible throughout the USA and as I recently found out, throughout the world. If you are in the US I 100% recommend this bank. Biggest Bank in the USA.

On-line bill pay is the worst. They take your funds out of your account with the promise that they will send off the bills you have requested but they don't. I have had to fight for over 6 months to get my funds back from them. Not once but twice! I would not recommend any one to bank with BANK OF AMERICA!

I went into BOA yesterday because of stupid high overdraft fees! They gave me a credit for three 35 dollar overdraft fees that they placed on my account which I thought was great. I come into work the very next day after they credited my account and there were two more overdraft fees for absolutely nothing and they refuse to remove them. I would NEVER! advise anyone to ever bank with BANK OF AMERICA!!!!!!!

I have several incidents which result me to share my experience in the reviewcentre. So far none of the officers gave me a trusted advice whenever I needed. I asked several advices from them and finally end up paying more and more interest/service change/penalties. They always offer the customers to open more and more accounts to put them on a trap. After loosing so much finally moved to credit unions who offer much better service with better satisfaction.

I have had a Bank of America credit card for many years. I have never been late on a payment nor have I gone over my credit limit. Yesterday, my husband and I checked our B of A card balance. We had over $6,000 available. We then went down to Target and tried to purchase a television for Fathers Day. We have made many purchased at Target using this card. B of A would not accept this $900 (about) purchase. We were mortified Fortunately, Target accepted our check, or there would be no Fat ...

I have had so many problems with this bank, including the fact that I continuously get interest rate hikes with NO explanation, and for no reason.

Honestly, I'm taking my money market account and getting as far away from Bank of America as possible.

There are much better options than the Bank of America out there now, especially if you prefer brick and mortar. Washington Mutual for instance, has a real free checking account with no minimum required, free checks for life (you have to pick the real old fashioned ones, but hey, they're free), no charges when you wire-transfer to other banks in the US, plus other benefits. Bank Of America is way behind all this! They keep opening branches everywhere, especially in Texas, but customers have to p ...
