Good Points: - Premier Debt cards arrive quicker than normal cards (sent 1st class no 2nd like most) - Dedicated premier phone number very useful for discussing all account features without the need for calling multiple-numbers.

Bad Points: - All the features such as mobile and travel insurance took weeks to come into play - Chequebook not sent unless requested and the service can only be activated in branch

General comments: The setup of my Premier Vantage account was very quick and efficient. I received my Lloyds TSB Premier Banking Current Account welcome pack pretty much the next day and my debit card within two days.Staff have been nothing but helpful and always address me by my name rather than 'sir' which makes the service more personalized.I would recommend this account to anyone with substantial capital, as you receive a great interest rate for balances of £7,000+. I believe at the moment Lloyds are offering a discounted monthly fee of around £17 rather than the £20 they normally charge

I have had the Lloyds TSB Premier Banking Account over 12 mths and can honestly say the value for money is excellent. I use the Family Travel insurance twice a year, The AA peace of mind as a woman driver is great and knowing my mobile phone is insured(again I have used this service and been nothing but pleased with it).

I opened a Lloyds TSB Premier Banking Current Account 2 or 3 weeks ago and it has proved to be a nightmare fro me.The service is fairly slow and you are often put through and kept waiting so it is costing money all the time. The staff at the Banking Centre appear to have virtually no knowledge about the account and their information has often been wrong. Money was not transferred as promised. It seems to be impossible to try and speak to someone in authority who can possibly improve things. The who ...
