I am on transplant drugs and have very fine hair. Herbatint uses no ammonia and leaves my hair beautiful and full of shine. The colors are very true and long lasting and covers every bit of my gray. Fed up with my heavily highlighted and very blonde hair (not to mention over processed) I decided I needed to opt for a more simple and gentle colouring regime. I have always loved red hair but thought there was no way I could go from bleach blonde to red at home - how wrong I was. Herbatint was recommended to me by a friend and as per her suggestion I contacted them to ask for advice. After a couple of conversations/emails and assurances I would be fine to use the colour (but with emphasis on doing a strand test first) I decided to go for it. I chose FF1 Henna Red and 6N Blonde. I mixed 10 ml of the blonde with the red and hey presto, 40 mins later I was left with perfectly coloured and very beautiful red hair. No frazzled ends, no colour 'leakage' from the blonde, no patchiness - just great colour and even coverage. Over the years I have used practically every well-known brand of hair colour on the market with varying success. I have put up with awful chemical smells and poor results - but not with Herbatint. No smell, no hasle just lovely shiny and soft hair. I have already purchased a couple more boxes to keep in the cupboard.

I have been using Herbatint for quite a few years and always have great result. Love colour 5M Light Mahogony Chesnut. Only problem now I am finding it hard to get at health food outlets in New South Wales.

What a fantastic product! No smell, no itching. Colour was fantastic - dark chestnut. Had previously tried an all natural hair colour which only slightly stained my grey hairs. Herbatint has completely covered them and has left my hair very shiny and looking great. Have recommended to friends.

I used a lightener to make my hair go 4 shades lighter but it made my hair look absaloutly awful it was bright yellow and it was discusting. So I tried Herbatint 8N and it turned my hair into a gorgeous colour and I am so happy about it! THANKYOU HERBATINT!!!! Most hair colours make my scalp really itchy also but this didn't make it itchy. I would difenatley Recomend this to a friend.

I am a black female with jherri curl hair.And presently I have completely dyed my hair with herbatint hair color.First of all any product works best when used in conjuction with other products.My hair is healthy,but it was already healthy before I applied the herbatint hair colour,but if I am not mistaken,I do so beleive that the herbatint have contributed greatly to the texture and health of my hair.Yes my hair has been chemically altererd which automatically changed my hair texture,but when I use the herbatint hair color,my hair was significantly softer,and bouncier,and shiny(shimmery).And the Royal Cream Conditioner is absolutely amazing.It is truly a blessing to finally find a hair color product,that actually makes my hair incredibly softer,as appose to having it really dry.Helpful hints.Washing hair at least a day before colouring is highly recommended.Also always make sure your hair is kept very moisturize(not necessarily greasy)especially when hair is coloured.Also use shampoos,conditioner,ect which does not prematurely stripped color from the hair.I truly believe that herbatint is a much safer alternative.

I switched to this colour product because I couldn't tolerate the smell and itchy scalp after using other products. I find it very gentle and not at all smelly - I can colour my hair without having to open every window in the house. The results are awesome and it lasts as long as salon colours. The colours tend to run a bit dark, which is fine for me because my natural colour is dark brunette, but if you're very blonde you might find that even the blonde colours are too dark. I highly recommend this product.
