Good Points: This hotel is in the most amazing hotel ever. It is situated in a very quaint neighbourhood. When you step out the door of the hotel you are in the midst of several restaurants, antique shops, art galleries and such. There are so many amazing things about the Hotel Dominion, which I have explained in detail in my review. My ultimate favorite feature of the hotel are what I refer to as their 'fairy-tale' beds. For the comfort of their beds can only be compared to what I would dream a fairy tale bed would be like.

Bad Points: There is nothing negative about this hotel except perhaps the day you have to leave.

General comments: The Hotel Dominion 1912 is by far our favorite hotel. The atmosphere is very relaxing and as my husband says, staying there really makes you feel like you are on vacation. Unlike many other Quebec City hotels the area this hotel is in, is actually very quiet at night, enabling a very restful sleep. We have stayed at other hotels in Quebec City that are situated in the middle of all the tourist activities and we found them to be very noisy at night. The benefit of the Dominion Hotel is it is just steps away from Old Quebec so you are still able to walk everywhere. The staff is always helpful and will do anything for you, including making dining suggestions and reservations. They have menus at the front desk, from several restaurants in Quebec City which we found to be exceptionally useful. As well as being immensely functional, the well thought out rooms are very posh and romantic. Other details of the rooms which we aprreciate are the several places to store your luggage, an in room safe, a cd player and large television. There is a desk with plenty of room for your computer, and a high speed internet connection which there is no charge for. At the desk there is also a comfortable chair unlike any other. There is another chair in the room with a cozy comforter and beautiful reading lamp, making it a great space to curl up in with your favorite book. They have the most comfortable beds in the entire world and the bedding and pillows are very luxurious. The bathroom is to die for, with it's gorgeous rainfall shower, aquamarine color glass sink and spotlessly clean bathtub which you will actually want to use. They add fresh fruit and bottled water to your room every day. In the evening they come by with chocolates, more fresh bottled water, more towels and the weather update for the following day. The delicious breakfast which is complimentary, has everything you could possibly want including croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, muffins, fresh orange juice, coffee etc etc. I am very fussy about hotels and I can honestly without a shred of doubt, highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. All the best.
