    Over the past 10-12 years I've been on three Solo Holidays. Value for money is very low. The sales blurb say you don't pay single supplements - do Solos really think we believe this. You can book the same holiday separately for at least two thirds of the cost. Beware if booking nearer the time as you may be charged a supplement for the airfare which happened to me once. However, Solos has an almost captive audience. What is needed is more travel companies offering fairly priced holidays for singles.

    Felt I had to write a review as I wanted to balance out the negative ones! I am about to go on my fourth holiday with Solos, this time to Sri Lanka; My previous ones were to Budapest, Tanzania, and Catalonia. Obviously the fact that I am booking again (along with hundreds of repeat customers) shows that many of us have very positive feelings about the company.     Went with Solo's Holidays to cyprus for a week. Luggage delayed, full of boring people boasting about their children, never offered me an alternative airport so I was forced to pay a £65 flight supplement as well as having to travel 240 miles to and from airport

    Have been on 2 Solos holidays. 1 city break Istanbul and 1 sun Corfu, and have to say I would rate them very poor value for money. The hotel in Corfu was extremely basic and the rep "over attentive" The Istanbul break involved a phone call from Solos 3 days prior to departure due to overbooking of our centrally located hotel to one which was miles out, and involved expensive taxis, or crowded confusing public transport crossing very busy roads just to get back to the area in which we had origina ...

    I found Solo's Holidays a very hit and miss experience with the group dynamics being paramount in having a good holidays. If you can over the price and get lucky with a decent group of people then go for it.
