94 electric blue cream hide needs stripping and rebuilding but goes like stink! no pas so a handful to park in a tight spot but the best! goes like stink! better than my 4.5 it's raw power but think its been raced and modded but the 4.5 is refined and quick and is a joy to drive it purrrrs and wags its tail and takes me as a gentleman's carriage a joy to drive but the 94 is a lady of the night a cream tart and will bite you on the Bottom but never does and is so protective to the driver ... This car is just sex on wheels. It has everything anyone could possibly need and want in a car. The main problem with the car is the bad press it gets due to build quality, but quite frankly I have known a brand new 996 to be a garage for its first six months of life, then the owner demanded they take it back and he bought a TVR. It is hand built, so expect niggles, but every time you take it out on the roads you forgive any imperfections it may have. Just get one if you can. (read more)

This TVR Chimera car is a must buy car. It turns so many heads and gets you noticed like nothing short of a ferrari. Jimi Hendrix inspired cars are passe. It also goes like a ferrari, and has more torque than any german or italian upstart. It destroys nearly every car off the lights. Its road holding is great as well and drives better than other wannabe turbo charged coupe roadsters.

Yes, it is a great car but slightly less reliable than alluded to. Also, some leak - badly. When this happens, the carpet goes mouldy and the inside stinks. Not good. Always keep them covered if outside. Although mine has never let me down (bought it 2nd hand 3 years ago with 5K on clock - now has 36k on clock and is 4 to 5 years old) I have had to replace gaskets and other fiddly things and the service always costs more than you think.
