Terrible speed issues - customer service; on hold after 22 mins, get to speak to Victor who promptly cut me off - back to No. 5 in the never ending queue. No good for games, ebay bidding or even banking - certainly would not recommend to anyone.

Been with BE Broadband for about a year now. Came via Tisacli and Zen Internet ( 10 / 10 but expensive ). On 24 Mb pro but getting around 13 - 15 Mb which allows me to download at an average of 1.3Mbs. No download limit and I usually download between 1 - 4 Gb per day. Pays to reboot the router every now and then to reset all setttings. Best of all it's a short term contract ( 3 Months ) although you do pay a small premium for this but it's worth it.- Read Guest's review (82 words)

The broadband service from BE would be OK if you lived near an exchange. For a 24meg service I only get 1.5meg download speed. Be's response is that I live too far from the exchange but they are happy to continue charging me for the full rate even though I get less than 5% of advertised download speed.
For that I have scored them pretty low but the reliability of connection has been fair and 95% of outages were planned with plenty of notification.- Read Guest's review (82 words)

Finally! ive spent years trying to find a reliable broadband and finally i have what ive been looking for. Ive been with Be about 18 months now and can honestly say it has never failed me, not once. No lack of speed no dodgy connection fading in and out. Nope contrast glorious broadband. And the service is excellent. All though ive never had a problem, i had some questions setting it up and about payments and they assisted immediately.
I have tried many companies over the years and none have li ...- Read carlso47's review (101 words)

I work in the IT industry and sometimes I must work from home. Needless to say that I need a fast and reliable connection from home. For me, the price is irrelevant but the quality is. There are a lot of broadband plans out there for 3 pounds a month with what they call "fair usage policy". Which means the provider will block you to 56 kbps like in the 1993 if you use too much bandwidth. How much is too much? You never know. Be Broadband is not in this category of providers. You pay the price an ...- Read Guest's review (224 words)

Being someone who regularly downloads large (Gb +) files I opted for Be's 24 Mbps broadband offering. I've now been using their service for over 3 years and have nothing but good things to say about the company.
The service from Be Broadband was easy to set up with the wireless router working straight out of the box
I've experienced a consistently high data transfer rate which frequently approaches the quoted 24 Mbps (dependant on server side capability)
The signal is strong (am able to ge ...- Read Guest's review (132 words)

Be Broadband is a fast service and pretty reliable. Any problems were fixed within 15 minutes. I love the tech support - they get straight to the problem without having to follow a script and without making you repeat everything you've already tried.
Big thumbs up for Eastern Europe tech support.- Read Guest's review (50 words)

BE broadband offers excellent value for money and there was a noticeable difference in the speed and reliability of my internet after I switched to BE. In the past with other ISPs I've noticed that my internet was slower during peak times (evenings and weekends) however I don't have this problem with BE. I've had BE internet for about 6 months now and have never had any problems, the customer service department were quick to answer any queries that I had during the set up period. All packages of ...- Read Guest's review (109 words)

I have been delighted to have Be as my broadband provider, and I don't see us choosing to go elsewhere for the foreable future.
We chose Be because of the high download speeds, although other companies now offer similar. But the service has been great (no dropping out, consistantly super fast speeds) and I never have any trouble getting through to their customer services. They were very helpful at the setting up stage too. They notify me of outages by text messages in advance, and when these occ ...- Read Guest's review (121 words)

Line drops all the time with Be Broadband, speed is only just 70% of what they said it would be. keep been asked the do the same test that do not show any thing wrong. will call you back or answer a letter. Customer service will not you back and they wil not answer help tickets. one ticket was not answered for a full 8 days. There own test do not complete and they have to redo them.- Read Guest's review (76 words)

With Be I get 28ms ping 14.8Mb download speed. I used to use Sky internet with a ping of almost 80ms! Be is extremely fast and reliable.
The only downside is the router they give you. (Some crappy Thomson router) If you're happy to just plug it in and web browse it's fine but for anything else you really need to use another router. (E.G. Changing IP range, port forwarding, Port blocking, etc).
I use a static IP address so I had to call Be customer services for some information (VCI + VPI num ...- Read monoeye64's review (148 words)

I've been using the Internet since the dawn of time. I first came online with a 9600 baud 'Pocket Gem Fax/Modem' device on a Toshiba T11000p 'Portable' pc. I've worked in IT all my life. I'd like to think I'm clued up to a degree.
I moved away from F2S (after their numerous takeovers) to Be Broadband. Not only because they are apparently really good, but because they peer with the same network as my servers. The service is good but I'm afraid technical support are pretty crap. They really need ...- Read Guest's review (184 words)

Be Broadband are awful. They've instigated port throttling so if you do anything other than web browsing (i.e email, onling gaming, VOIP, BBCi Player, itunes download) they will reduce your speed to an un-usable speed.- Read GGTIM99's review (47 words)

Be are now part of the O2. However their networks are kept separate and O2 have allowed BE to run as a separate entity.
My line remains at a steady 17.8 Mb/s down and 1.1Mb/s up.
I do tend to use up most of the speed on this line. I host 2 webpages, 1 mail server, music streamer, ftp server and play online games at the same time.
I don't experience any hiccups as evidence that the line is under heavy use.
After endless issues with numerous ISPs...including 02.:) I would an ...- Read vampirebunny's review (114 words)
