    Good Points: Very comfortable car.

Bad Points: Not much room in the back seats.

General comments: I am on my second Citroen C3. First on was 1 year old when I got it. It had 9k on the clock. It has been a very reliable car which I have used for driving instructing in. I have done almost 70k in the last 2 year. Its a car thats been hammered, it never gets a day off. It alway starts, service part aren't expensive and servicing cost around £170 every 20k (main dealer). I had 2 small problems with the car - 1 the seat cushion wore but the dealer replaced the under warrenty (I am a little heavier than average). 2 the digital fan switch broke again replaced under warrenty. Other than that the car was fine. After Listening to other driving instructors who gave me bad reports on the new Corsa and the new Yaris I decided to stick with the C3. The car has lots of nice thingso n it like the doors lock at 7 mph (make me feel safe) Dash operating child locks the new one has an mp3 player! 5 door as standard.

The worst is cutting out when I drive about 1 mile from my house this has happened 3 times since I bought the Citroen C3 new in June 2004 the garage said they cannot find a fault.

Very expensive to run for a small car compaired to my Xsara 1.4 Auto I had before

I must admit that I was very surprised to read all the negative comments for the Citroen C3. I notice, however, that many of them drive petrol C3s. I am now on my second Diesel C3 and love the car. It's the economy that is so good - I get about 55 - 60 miles to the gallon on every tank!

Yes, some of the trim could be of better quality but I test drove a Ford Focus Ghia and though the build quality seemed better it didn't do as good a mileage and cost a whopping 6 thousand more!!!

    The clim ...
