Good Points: The Citroen C3 is a nice little car - comfortable even for a six footer, good variation on seat adjustment, air conditioning good, high seats good for people with back troubles, acceleration good, easy gearshift. Very responsive power steering.
Bad Points: Central locking works ONLY on signal key. If you manually lock driver door with key ALL OTHER doors remain unlocked. This is a very bad design fault - even my old Renault 19 locked all doors on both methods. 10 years on I would have expected same.
General comments: Had I known of the lock design fault on the Citroen C3, I would NOT have purchased one. There is a means of physically locking doors should there be a fault on key. It involves entering the door with key through small hole, this then locks door for security. BUT HOW THEN does one gain access to put passengers in rear, or let them out? ONLY by going to a dealer for repairs - costly if no guarantee.
Car has been back twice to dealer for very minor faults. Both times I have had to tell them how to cure it. Are Citroen dealers trained in anything other than selling?
