Good Points: Very smooth for a diesel and quiet
Bad Points: not many
General comments: The Renault Megane Sports Saloon offers great comfort and economy, this is my first diesel and I have to admit I'm not likely to go back to petrol cars based on my experience with the Megane.
The engine is very responsive and smooth when accelerating.
The shape gives it an executive look without being too big (this is not like the one with the boot sitcking out, 'shake that a**' advert).
Once the car has been driven from cold for about 3-4 mins the car engine can hardly be heard. Many passengers have sat in the car and questioned whether it is a diesel or not.
The stereo is good sounding, I was originally going to get it changed prior to the car being delivered but once I heard it, I thought I'm going to keep it.
There are plenty of nice little storage compartments like under the drivers feet if you lift the floor mats you can open a storage compartment, you will find many of these around the car. The boot is quite spacious too.
All in all I am very happy with it and would recommend it for purchase
