I am using 158 grain bullits HN highspeed roundnose, and 129 grains.
The RWS Career 9MM has excellent knockdown power and grouping fulling the rifle 185 bar.

I've had my Career 9mm repeater for about a month now and
have had a chance to experiment with a variety of different
pellets and bullets. I see a lot of pros and cons with this
rifle, but for anyone facinated with the idea of a truly
high powered air gun, the 9mm is pretty hard to beat. The
big downside is the cost. You'll have well over a grand
invested by the time you get the rifle, a tank, and misc.
items necessary to use the rifle. For comparison, this is
more than a top of th ...

I am fortunate enough to own both RWS 9mm air rifles. The single shot is lighter than the six shot.(For obvious reasons). They are both very beautiful and well made. I fired the single shot over my Shooting Chrony and registered 998 fps. WOW!!! With that kind of power, do you really need 6 shots? The lever action on the six shooter is smooth and easy, no jammed bullets.

IF YOU WANT A POWERFUL AIR RIFLE FOR HUNTING GO FOR THE RWS 9MM SINGLE SHOT.
I DID'NT LIKE THE RWS ULTRA 9MM REPEATER BECAUSE IT DONT SHOOTS 100-125GR. BULLETS THE 9MM REPEATER JUST SHOOTS HEAVY PELLETS.
WITH ONE SHOT THATS ALL YOU NEED TO BRING ANY ANIMAL DOWN. AND RELOAD AGAIN.

For anyone reading this review, I'd like you to know that the 9mm single shot is Phenomenal! I droped a deer at 110 yards - if that tells you anything! I love the looks, even though some would not agree. The only draw back is when you first get the gun you wont know when it is at it's peak power and that you'll enjoy it so much you'll wish you had more shots on a charge. To help you out I will let you know about the gun. First, do not fill with air! Only fill to about 185 bar. When you fill it t ...

All of my friends have one of these, I will be the last to probably get one. This is a handsome rifle, this is the only soft thing about this rifle. Everything else is pure mean. With a 77 grain hollow point loaded, you can easily stop a coyote in its tracks. This is about as powerful as one might want to get with a PCP. I love the sound, and accuracy even with the stock sights. This gun is a real treat to shoot, one of these days I'll get my own.
