“Transfer mobile number guidance”

The process of completing the contract was simple and no problems. However when I read the notes prior to progressing to the online service, I read that keeping your existing number was easy and that a phone call after receipt of the new mobile phone would suffice. After completing the process the final page there was no reference as to how to keep your existing number. Maybe this could be incorporated in the online ordering information. (read more)

Great offer but changing domain from talktalk half way though didn't give confidence. I then couldn't find the offer within my Talktalk account so had to return to the secure-mobile site. It then asked if I wabnted to transfer my number to the new phone (from my wife's talktalk mobile-this was an extra phone) but didn't give a choice of transfering the number from another mobile. Online chat turned out to automated and didn't answer any format of my questions (read more)

It is an amazing offer. although it is very clear in the first instance that i pay 2.5 per month, 10 pounds per month is not very clear it is discovered later in the order. Nothing matches directly inspection of the handset in a shop, but the blackberry handset pictures online i thought were a bit hazy.I chose white, mainly because i could not see the purple, blue ones clearly. The only service that I have not tried with TalkTalk is the TV. Who knows at some stage in the near future I may well try it. I am more than pleased with the service I have received from TalkTalk. Both with my Landline and Broadband and also the Mobile service. I have recently been quite ill in hospital and even now am in and out of hospital quite often. The day after I wrote this review, I had need to contact mobile sales support as they emailed me that there was going to be a delay in my order. This time I spoke to a young gent who was extremely helpful and courteous. I asked him the same question about upgrading in the middle of the contract. He put me on hold for about 30 seconds and came back with the answer that NO it's not possible to do this, but if needs be I could buy "boosters" which would give me extra minutes (etc) per month. So it seems the original answer was WRONG.
