    Good Points: None

    Bad Points: Constant dropping,

General comments: After being with vodafone for 10 years, last 2 month have been a nightmare with trying to ring out or recieve calls, even though I have a full signal. It has now come to the point where I have had to buy out my contract has vodafone would not take any responsability, even after tons of phone calls and emails etc, would definately not recomend them.

I spend a lot of time abroad and had to switch away from Vodafone because of all the text messages they were sending me. Every time I roamed onto a different network, the same message would arrive. Then more texts from Vodafone started arriving at night. In the end it was driving me nuts. I contacted Vodafone several times but apparently they have no control over these messages.

Today a vodafone customer service personal called and adviced me to cancel the contract and call the sales department with PAC code to port my number to vodafone (to a new contract). All they are doing is discouraging customers buying the vodafone connections thru other dealers (ie. Dial-a-phone) and encouraging them to come direct. It's a big nuisence.

I joined vodafone recently (2days) thru Dial-a-phone and called vodafone to port my number. After going thru all long process of pressing buttons on my phone a customer rep advised me it's not possible to port the number if the contract is already started. I tried it today to check again another one adviced to contact Dial-a-phone with PAC code and hung the phone. Which is not mentioned anywhere in the vodafone web (FAQ) or my mobile T&C. I downloaded a document from vodafone web which clearly ...

I was transferred to Vodafone when DotMobile went into administration and found myself paying for a service on a sim card which didnt exist.Vodafone didnt to check the old records of DotMobile to find the old cancellation details and I ended up having to hand them over £70 for mistakes which I feel they had encurred during the purchase of DotMobile. To add insult to injury they then charged me another £35 for an extra month while they "cancelled" my contract again. Very disappointe ...

I can rarely get a signal anywhere, and as soon as i really need to get in touch with someone, it either says 'no network coverage' or 'no access to network' i don't have a clue what it means, the only reason im still with vodafone is because all of my numbers are on my sim, and im too lazy to transfer them. I strongly recommend that nobody should ever go on this network.

What else could be bad for a company that's selling a network! Strongly advise not to consider taking the Vodafone service in any condition, better never take it than being in tension! I had already suffered the waste billing system of Vodafone and am now suffering the basic commodity provided by these people "The Network"! These people seem to be "happy to help", but I feel they don't bother to provide any help and surely that does not makes me happy

Network Reception is complete rubbish (I never get reception where other networks do)...I am not exaggerating it is REALLY REALLY bad to the point where I must change networks nowDisconnection policy for pay monthly is primitive (you have to write to them by letter)Customer service is poor but so are most call centrers.

After being with vodafone for a considerable time, I have found that existing customers don't get deals as good as new customers. There becomes less chose on the style of phone, the upgrades can incur extra costs that aren't widely advertised, especially on the internet.

After being with Orange for 15yrs I decided to join Vodafone, Oh boy what a mistake, I got the N95 8gb, I hardly ever get reception, they have changed the phone and the sim card, but it is still useless, they have extended my trial by 7 days. I have phoned there 191 help number over 20 times and the clever person on the other end of the phone said is there anything else wrong with your phone? if you can't use it as a phone what do you want it for? I came into Birmingham New street by train the g ...

Very BAD network coverage area in City like Bangalore also. Phone gets disconnected in Indoors. Number of signal towers are few. I feel that Vodafone have no concern over the complaints made. Very unprofessional. Complaint was taken to rectify the signal strength and a buffer time of 10 days. They have written the report that the Customer is informed regarding the complaint and the problem will be rectified at the end of 2008. But none of the Vodafone people have informed me. Personally I had to ...

I joined Vodafone in Dec 07, I have experienced a few problems with my handset but i always get a new one the day after. I'm always answered by uk based call centres and very knowledgeable staff who bend over backwards to help. Pity other providers don't follow suit. Well done voda for re-inventing great customer service.

Try two baked bean tins strung together with string before you try Vodaphone - at least you can get limited coverage where ever you go!!! My company is a corporate client of Vodaphone's - it used to use 02 but swapped after people complained about the coverage. As we've all realised since, we made a huge mistake! The vodaphone coverage is much worse than 02's (I don't particularly want to plug them, it's just that they're the only comparison I have). The signal goes through periods of just cutt ...

The Vodafone signal, I find, is appalling. I constantly loose it and it takes me ages to send/receive texts and having a phone conversation in just a nightmare!

Vodafone is sometimes flawed when it comes to sending texts, sometimes they go up to 12 times, which I understand is due to them not being deleted off the server. This is a common problem as I understand it. The good points do not outweigh the bad points when you consider the cost implications. I believe Vodafone are aware of this problem. this has happened to me on two bills. At one time they were also billing everyone for free texts but did not correct the error unless people rang up to co ...

Been on vodafone contract for 12 years, always a high tariff and always upgraded 12 monthly or 18th monthly. Last phone has had an endemic problem and Vodafone have decided that they cannot replace the phone. Hence I am left with a useless phone and 6mth left on a contract, Customer services have been so unhelpful it isn't even funny and hence when I asked if they even valued me as a 12yr Vodafone customer the answer was NO!! I will change to another provider asap and let my 12yr old run out my ...

All 6 of us here have been with vodaphone for over 10 years. We are on PAYG smartstep. They have just decided to double the prices. Now you have to pay 10p per min , was 5p. This is after you are charged a whopping 90p for your first 3 minute call.
