A truly horrible company - stay away if you want a company that cares about you as a paying and loyal customer. I was with Vodafone both in Spain and UK for more than 2 years - spent somewhere between £3-4000 with them and they never once given me loyalty points, free calls etc! They sold me a 'dongle', a USB modem internet which didnt work (the salesman guaranteed it would work in my area and I signed the contract, a blatant lie they didnt take responsible for).

Vodafone is the worst company I ever been a customer to, and I will never, look at or pay for their services ever again. I've been a customer to other poor companies such as 3 mobile, AON and Pipex, but they are looking good in comparison to Vodafone. All Vodafone spend money on is their boring, disingenious, ridiculous and propaganda like advertising, but it seems as nothing is spent on loyalty schemes, customer service or following up on customer complaints (I wrote them complaints 3 times - they never even bothered about replying).

i have been with vodafone now for 4 years, after being with o2, never had any problems except from last year where everyone including me who had vodafone lost all coverage for no reason. also i have upgraded my phone and cannot get internet on it with vodafone, which is why i am feeling the need to leave.
other than that very good value for money if you are a PAYG fan with their bundles.

Vodaphone doesn't send out paper copies of an ammended contract when renewing over the phone. I renewed my contract over the phone at an agreed monthly price, but 9 months after renewing it, the price suddenly doubled. I was told it is because the first 9 months only were at a discounted price, and that it is according to the contract. However, since I've never seen the contract, I couldn't see that I was misled over the phone.

Great coverage, but customer services have not a clue what they are talking about. I asked 4 different customer service advisors how much my line rental was for every month and the ALL gave me a different figure! INCREDIBLE!!

Have only been with Vodafone for 3 months, but in this time they have taken two lots of £500 out of my account WITH NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE TO ME.
It should have been £40.I have tried to contact them on numerous occasions and was either put on hold or spoke to someone that was very rude and not in the slightest bit interested in listening to my problem.
It is a disgrace how they can call themselves customer services when blatantly they are not at all interested in helping people.

I had a contract with Vodaphone but left early. I paid off the early charge for breaking contract and heard nothing for over a year. They have now sold my 'debt' which doesnt exist to a debt collection company who are chasing me for it. I dont see how they can sell a debt that has been paid sure its illegal and thinking of informing trading standards - stay away from this company!

    STEER CLEAR OF VODAFONE!

Vodafone have a habit of charging you for services you didn't ask for, or even services you cancelled! When they do this the money comes straight out of your account through DD even though you had agreed to a lower limit and when you try to reclaim your money they either ignore you or are intolerably rude. If you want to find out more just search some advice/review forums, the same problems crop up over and over again. My advice would be to steer clear.

    Pay monthly, overcharged

    Hi,
I've been with Vodafone for 5 years, first 2 on pay as you go. I have renewed my pay monthly contract once to change my telephone and I was satisfied (so was my partner) with the service they provided. Few bits and bobs which all companies have. But I went on fieldwork abroad and used my inclusive minutes to call back to UK and in that country. I was super charged at 340/ month, for 2 months instead of the usual £ 25. I specifically asked what they mean by abo ...

Vodafone is awful. The service is appauling. I pay the highest insurance for my phone and when it broke i was sent a replacement SECOND HAND,FAULTY handset which they would not replace without a fight. I spent hours in store and on the phone. Terrible.
    the coverage is good.

Renewed contract with Vodafone, they have taken my payments, but my phone kept saying 'no calling credit'. Tried to phone them, but couldn't talk to anyone as I had 'no calling credit. Sent them emails to try to sort this out, and was told I was pay as you talk and should top up. Sent further emails with Vf account numbers, invoice numbers etc. but still was told the same (were my emails actually read?????). Still my money was taken from my account, and I could not use my phone.
    Then wrote to t ...

Vodafone gives excellent coverage and value for money.
Having used Virgin, T-Mob, Orange and O2 I can honestly say that the coverage and call quality is excellent.
As a data provider I've found some patchy moments, but overall good rates.
I find the web-centric self service approach to be industry standard and has few problems.
Overall, a good service from a well engineered network.
I couldn't care less about the iPhone and the choice of handsets is good.

I moved to Vodafone some months ago because of poor customer service and poor coverage in my new home area. Well, I got the coverage part right - it is much better than my previous supplier and is generally good where I use the phone, although it does seem to suffer "overloads" at times that suddenly leaves you with no signal where there had been 5 bars a moment before.

However, Vodafone's customer service is now even worse than my previous supplier and that's saying something. Initially I spok ...

This year Vodafone abolished roaming charges for the duration of the summer. On holiday in France we found we were completely unable to send text messages to anyone and were only rarely able to telephone home to the UK. We were told by customer services that this was because of poor network coverage where we were. We didn't buy this explanation, since we had no trouble telephone or messaging within France.

I have been with Vodaphone since May (3 months) and they have offered me nothing but miserably pathetic customer service since day one and they are getting to be really expensive because of the mistakes they make on my bills which they refuse to correct.

I HAVE ONLY GIVEN THEM ONE STAR BECAUSE THIS SITE REFUSED TO NOT LET ME RATE THEM!!!
