This is the first negative review I have EVER written; my blood is boiling as I type! I have been a voda customer for over seven years and am literally so annoyed I am considering paying off the rest of my contract just so I can leave. Their customer service is appalling. It's been 3 month I've taken new contract with Vodafone and my experience with Vodafone is dreadfull. No proper signal and no proper 3G. You won't get continuous singal on A road and you have signal drops on M4 between Heathrow and Reading. if you finish your call and want to browse you will be connected to Edge and you have to put your phone airoplane mode and turn it off to get 3G connection and their 3G speed is worst. I never had a contract phone, but because my phone broke, i went to Phones 4 u. They were great. Since a year ago vodafone contract should have been £ 21 a month. I dont mind the shops or the products they are offering, but when it comes to getting a problem sorted through the call centre I just want to punch every single person working for vodafone. Vodafone signal reception is terrible with an internet service on a par with the old dial up and customer service is diabolical. As per overseas services, communication is difficult at best, empty promises, lack of understanding all topped with the now all to common attitude. This is the worst mobile provider you can choose, bad coverage, terrible customer service and they will spam you with text messages totally unrelated to their service. I'm a PAYG customer, so don't know if calls/texts are more expensive than on contract, but as I'm a light user, I don't want constant monthly charges. Current PAYG costs of 30p a minute and 14p a text is daylight robbery - greed, call it what you like compared to most, if not all other mobile networks. Once you get through, they're charming and sweet and helpful - as far as they can be, with an automated phone system that has been carefully designed to be as UNhelpful and slow as possible. Yup, I agree... for a phone company, they're incredibly shy about giving a number on which they can be contacted! It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm seriously considering cancelling my contract with them. It'd be easier to contact them if I drove to their Head Office and searched the building for a human.

I can honestly say its one of the worst companies. If you call the customer line and speak to someone then call back and speak to someone else you can guarantee they will tell you something completely contrary. 1st issue was setting up roaming: they didn’t place the bundle I requested on so I ended up with a large bill. Contacting vodaphone with any kind of problem is a nightmare. Like some other companies they only set up easilty accessinble contact details for purchasing the phone once you are hooked you are put in the proverbial keep net until your contract is nearing its end.
