    TVR Chimaera looks gorgeous, sounds gorgeous and goes as well as it looks and sounds. I have never had so many people want to talk to me about a car everywhere I park up - all favourably. The car has given me no trouble and, finally, when I had it on a track day I found that the hadling is superb. Why didn't I buy one years ago?

    TVR Chimaera 400 awesome car. Killer good looks, V8 sound, cheap to maintain and value for money. Can get hairy in the wet, tacky internal fittings and cheap carpets. Uncomfortable in tropical heat.

    My general comment is it a great car to be sat in so I imagine it will be very good to drive.

    The TVR Chimaera 400 is fantastic, you buy one knowing that you will have niggles.... but when you start that amazing V8, and drive away with the roof down.. then all its faults are forgiven, they are like marmite... you love it or hate it .. I love it !!

    In general the TVR Chimaera is an excellent car! Amazing performance, incredible sound, good club (TVRCC) and not that common.

    I owned a TVR Chimera for a year, nearly cried when it went. I couldn't fault it. It had a few minor niggles like switches falling off but as soon as I started the engine, all was forgiven.

    Had a TVR Chimera for 18 months and nothing has gone wrong apart from the interior light (now fixed) and an intermittently working electric mirror. Brilliant fun. Some tend to overheat, but you can get an override switch fitted by any dealer.
