I have owned my ZT 190 for approx 6 years and can't rate the experience highly enough for value for money and smiles. Excellent on the twisty A/B raods to/fro work, will pull a good size 24ft caravan with ease, nails the expensive BMW 330's, Audi A4/6's etc on a regular basis on the commute. Very reliable (fuel pump and radiator cap and a few bulbs only things gone in time i've had it) Tyres are not that expensive as some people say if you look around - had plenty of experience of this having 14 tyres in my time with the car!, good quality Kumo's (as used in racing formulas)- two for £170 all in not bad. Space a bit tight for my kiddies in back with their clobber, but hey they can't drive yet so are best kept happy by pretending the road is a Scalextric track as I drive!! Overall great car, sorry to see it go when it eventually dies cant think what to have next other than another V6 or V8 poss, think I'll try a Mustang.

Since 2002 I owned quite a few MG ZED cars, and in my view the MG ZT is best all round one I have had.
I started with a 02 ZR 120 then on to a 04 ZR 160, after that a 05 ZS 180 V6. Since May 08, I now run the very last of the line ZT 160 Turbo with SE spec, on a 56 plate
I changed the ZS 180, as I did not wish to pay £430 a year road fund, which is what the ZS V6 will be from next April. As it will fall into band G.
So the ZT 160 Turbo was the best option for me, as the V6 would put me in ...

In a world where BMWs, Audis and to a lesser extent, VWs, are rather cliche, the MG ZT (and ZT-T) are a better-value-for-money alternative with a sense of character that the others lack, whilst being a truly competitive car.

I have the MG ZT 190+ and I bought it on a whim I have always liked British cars and I needed a sensible family car but I wanted something with a little bit of umph and that is what I got with this car. I have owned several sports cars and several family cars and I have always felt a little disheartened they promise everything but come up with nothing. This car though promised nothing but good looks and delivered a whole lot more. So much so that my wife actually sold her car so we have just the ...

I've had the MG ZT sports car from 68k, and I've only covered 5K in a year. Since I've had it, I've had 2 clutches done. The first was poorly fitted. Very hard ride. Sticks to the road really well, but bare in mind you'll be spending £150 per tyre if you throw it around bends for a living. I keep getting a bulb out warning, but all bulbs are working fine. I had a couple of occasions where the heating kicks in, even though the temperature is at 17 degrees. I wouldn't recommend this car, ...

After owning a Chrysler and wearing it out in 83,000 miles, I chose to buy a V6 powered car with comfort, and the MGZT came up as the best value for money.

I have now put 50,000 miles in 18 months on my 190+ and I love the car. The only downside is, my tyre supplier could not get me the 45 profile tyres when I needed them, so we fitted 40 profile on the front and left the good 45 profiles on the rear. This lead to a problem with the central processor working out the speed and the revolutions ...

I don't know much about cars. I wasn't really buying one. But when you're along for the ride, waiting for your girlfriend to decide between the MX5 and the MGTF, you may as well look around.

I spotted the MG ZT 190 (Silver, 02 plate, 28000 miles, £9,995). I didn't know what it was, but I know what I like (yes, big girlie - "I like the colour").

I tried it out. Which was a dream, apart from running out of petrol and being rescued (do they REALLY syphon off the fuel to make a buck ...

I have the MG ZT 190+ 2.5 and am very impressed with it after 6,000 miles. Handles very confidently and is fitted with excellent suspension, brakes, and tyres. Engine goes well enough although I was expecting a bit more and have been advised to use Super Unleaded. Build quality excellent. There are some superb deals at the moment; mine was GBP 16,750 as an ex-demonstrator (6 mths) that had been in the showroom i.e. zero miles.
