I have owned several mgfs and mgtfs overvthe last 10 years and they with out doubt the best pound for pound sports car available. My latest 2005 mgtf 135 is just superb and to date has been 100% reliable Cheap to buy Cheap to insure Will always put a smile on your face

The 2005 car illustrated is mine. With the improved head gasket, low water level warning and glass rear window it answers several complaints above. The car has been totally reliable over 42K with only a worry over the fragile trim. Spend the 50p on the sunvisor flaps and all would be well.

I was attracted to the MG TF 135 Sprint after test driving what I consider to be its oppositions (MX5 & Z3). The price was similar to the particular cars I was looking at. The TF took pole position in all aspects, and I forked over my hard earned cash for a year old car that had done less than 6000 miles.

With my work I drive all over Scotland to very remote coastal places, in good weather and very bad weather, and I have had no problems with the car what-so-ever. The only money I've spent, other than the scheduled service's, was for vanity purposes i.e re-spray of the front bumper, which suffered from stone chips due to driving on the dirt track roads, and a new set of tyres - TOYO proxes T1-R, which is another recommendation I would make.
Having owned my car for 2 years I was going to sell it, but I just love it too much.
In my opinion this is the best, most affordable sports car you can buy.
