Good Points: Shoots hard, easy to cock, good gun for money
Bad Points: Long for a carbine my BSA. Super sport is shorter than this rifle.
General comments: I like the Gamo 850 I got it for only $ 65.00 at a sporting goods store. A gun that not made in China for this price I had to try it. Well I like it so far. It shoot's hard and it hits what I aim at so whats not too like?, and the all black look is kind of cool and no wood stock to ding.
Buy it you will like it.

I liked the looks of the Gamo 850 Carbine, and I also like the name brand, but the BSA scope had a halo, and there were no iron sites for back-up. It worked OK for a day, but it broke after maybe 300 shots. I found it was going to be discontinued, so I bought another brand. I was not impressed! If it had worked for more than a few hours, I may have been happy, as it was OK to shoot.

Just recently purchase my Gamo 850 and love it! It's very accurate and powerful, I knock down a quail about 50 yards away. The cock is light so you don't need a lot of effort. Gamo manufactures all their guns with great quality control, every gun has a stamped inspection insuring quality and consistancy. The only problem I had was it came with cheap rings for the scope so I had to replace it with some better ones.
