    After passing this restaurant almost everyday since it opened I decided to give it a try with my partner, lovely atmosphere, you can really tell that it is run with passion and great authenticity. Having been to Sicily several times I was thoroughly impressed. Overall the food was superb and full of flavours, and a great honest wine selection to top it off.

    had a great time, and would recommend it to anyone!

    Friendly welcome, always ready to accommodate any special dietary needs, lovely building, and the food is generally very good and authentically italian.

    Overall it is lovely to have a restaurant of the quality of Isola Bella available in Devizes.

    Overall a really great Italian restaurant serving traditional Sicilian food. The best restaurant in Devizes by a mile.

    As you can probably gather this was not a good evening for myself & my wife, in The Isola Bella Restaurant on Saturday 7th Oct'06. We did get our main meal, but other couples failed to get beyond the starter before throwing in the towel.

    The excuse was that the restaurant was busy (isn't that good?), yet was only 50% full when we arrived. Also advised that the Chef was a little slow!

    From speaking with friends, neighbours & work colleagues this does not appear to be an isolated oc ...

    Isola Bella is the sister restaurant of the Devizes institution that is Franco's restaurant. It is larger, and more stylish - if you fancy a posh elegant night out, then come here. The presentation is beautiful, the food interesting and the homemade biscuits that come with the coffee are so moreish you could end up too wired to go home after repeat ordering your coffee to get more of them. The bar area is relaxing and the only place where smoking is permitted, and you can quite easily while away ...
