hello to all. i had a Nissan Navara se+ at 2007 one driver. 'i was crazy about my truck here in Israel, in the first 30000 km the car was zooming so fast and evrything was excelent till i had to do first tuneup first service. 'after the first service i felt the the truck had a noise until 45000 km noting found 'and then the find timing cahen ,full ingnition ,rust on the roof ,the truck was in warranty. they killed me whith all the stories in the world. I sold the truck and make a new deal to buy 2009 copy like the 2007 with excelent price ,but i had to Fight for long time ,but after i read here navara wont do more then 100000km

Bouhgt in Feb 2009 my navara was selected because itt was said to "be tough" and capable of towing my heavy trailers. This is what it does or should I say did after 1000 miles of careful running in it began its working life: troubkle at 6000 with the 4WD/ low ratio selector switch, got stuck in low ratio 20 MPH max in Low ratio 6 th gear! Now waiting for a clutch to be fitted under warrantty at 11300 miles. This is utterly ridiculous, I have 3 Daihatsu fourtraks that are getting to the end of th ...

Bought a 52 plate Navara 2 months ago, had only done 36000, and had had all the warranty work done, I was assured by the previous owner. Guess what happened in Stoke last night? 40393 miles, timing tensioner failed. Luckily the con rod hasn't exited the engine in the traditional fashion. The local Nissan dealer assuered me on the phone that it will be repaired by them under warranty. Will keep you posted.

I have Navara D22 Double Cab, 2004. It's been regularly serviced by Nissan and only last week came out of a service. It has just over 89000 miles and today 12 April 2009....I was driving down the M1 at about 65, when a loud knocking started....it sounded like a piston was hitting a valve...maybe not, could have been a shell come off the crank from the big end....anyway, it went bang and spent 3 hours waiting to be recovered. I was told by a chap who buys and sells the Navara to be cautious a ...

The Nissan Navara generally has ample power for the year. Too tight in my opinion for passangers and a bit thirsty compared to what you can get for the same specs.

I have owed the Nissan Navara from new and now done over 110,000 miles. In general terms it has been reliable but now certain suspension components are starting to wear, which isn't surprising when you consider it's a 2-tonne truck that's done 110,000 miles. I got around 40k miles from a set of tyres then switched to BFG A/T's and now get nearer 80k. The truck ate an injector pump but when investigated this turned out to be because I had used biofuel and this had resulted in the internal seal ...

Nissan Navara is good off road, I'm a farmer and have only got it stuck once in 4 years. Good for towing and also moving stuff with the pick up. Turning circle is very poor. I broke the radio arial. Overall a good truck. Not had any problems, servicing every 6000 miles or so is a bit of a pain.

Overall the Nissan Navara pickup is a nice piece of machinery for work and family use. Hugely reliable and mechanically sound. You have the roomy double cab to take the family on holiday and the bed to store the tent, sleeping bags and the rest of it whilst when you go back to work there is enough room to pick up all your work mates on the way and plenty of room in the back for all your tools. The ride is a bit too bouncy I must admit but it beats having a van with 3 seats and a family car. Incr ...

The Nissan Navara drives very easily and smoothly for such a large 4x4. Loads of space inside and very comfortable even on 12hr trips. I'd like improved Rear Visibility when reversing and wish it was cheaper on the fuel but all in all love it!

I have no confidence in the Nissan Navara and will never buy any Nissan vehicle again! Looks like its the 3ltr Ford Ranger for me next or the BT-50 3ltr.Dealer full of excuse after excuse for the time taken to repair, Nissan HQ only got their act together after 4wks, then vehicle was ready in 4 hours!18+K down the drain as these have no resale value! Clutch replaced at 26,500 miles! NO towing, only dogs in the back! Main Dealer took over 4 weeks to replace and fix!

Needed a new clutch at 71k, and now needs a gearbox rebuild. No help at all from Nissan, regardless that it was dealer maintained to 70k and full service by independant since. Previous towing vehicles all done in excess of 125k before needing clutches etc. Next vehicle will not be a Nissan as I do not rate this vehicle as fit for purpose. So its off to Mitsubishi or Toyota.

I have the D40. The predecessor the D22 seems very variable. I have not met one D40 owner yet who has experienced problems.

Bought my 2002 Nissan Navara in April 2007 from an engineering Company that used to sub contract to us (They bought it new in June 02). I knew the vehicle and it had been regularly serviced from new by Nissan, when I purchased it, it had done just shy of 70K. On 23/12/08 I was travelling to my workshop when it started making a ticking noise, I slowed right down and crept the couple of miles to my workshop, I parked up and left it ticking over whilst I got out to open the gate, as I walked bac ...

Well Nissan apparently have admitted that the D22 engine has a fault, they have agreed to extend the warranty from 3 to 5 years (engine only- providing service history is spot on every 6,000 miles ), mine is not perfect, they reject under warranty. But service manager says that he is 99% sure they will repair it under goodwill, Bingo!! they have agreed to pick up all costs and have today sent a brand new short block engine, cost of repairs £5,000. Very happy customer and what a Chrimbo p ...

Nissan Navara king cab 05 was great while it worked,,,, but now it doesn't. I was on the motorway doing about 65 mph and then with no warning the noise from hell came from the engine. Pulled onto hard shoulder and watched the remaining oil drain from the bottom of the engine.

I bought my Nissan Navara D22 King Cab new from main dealer in March 2005 and to date, (Dec 2008) I have done less than 26,500 miles. I ONLY transport dogs in the back (snugtop) and that is the reason for buying it in the first place as I do dog rescue. I took it for its service last week and since then it drives like rubbish!Since getting it back, when I accelerate and once the turbo kicks in, the engine just revs up without building the speed up (3rd & 4th gears only). Its booked back in to th ...
