    Good Points: Easy to install


    Bad Points: May not be stable for scope bigger than 20mm


    General comments: The Crosman Dove tail Intermount Kit 459MTC is 2 pairs of steel clamps that clamps together on top of the barrel by a 1/8" screw.
    It allows the mounting of 3/8" dovetail scopes and sights on Crosman models 2240, 2250, 2260, 2289, 1322, 1377, 1740 and 1760 airguns.
    This intermount kit works good on my 2289 to mount a 4x20mm scope.
    For extra stability i used ContactCement where it attaches to the barrel.
    So far it lasted 1636 shots with no broblem.
    But for bigger optics a Crosman Steel Breech would be more appropriate for the extra weight.
