I mounted the Bushnell Banner 4-12x40 scope 2 years ago and sighted it in. It was crystal clear and easy to sight in. I killed 4 bucks and a 6 point bull with my .243 and this scope and it was still on. My friend bought the same scope about the same time I did and mounted his. Only a year later the inside lens had shattered on his scope. Just before deer season packing my gun this year, I looked through the scope and could hardly see through it. The same lens had shattered. Bushnell… Read Full Review

I had this scope factory mounted on my German manufactured airgun. In less than 100 shots, the scope fell apart. The internal optics, I am not sure which lens, came loose rendering the scope and gun useless. When I peer into the scope, it looks like a lens has turned 90 degrees and is sitting in the tube. Any suggestions?… Read Full Review

I just bought one with AOEG after the numbers I certainly hope that I get a better run out of it than you guys seem to have received as from what you are saying it does not seem like a sound proposition to own one of these scopes it is a little sad as the great reputation of Bushnell is irrefutable

Bought this scope today for my 7,62x53R (finnish model). The clicks are accurate and works as intended, making the zeroing extremely easy. Shot about 25 cartridges at 100 yards and the scope handled the recoil nicely. The optics are bright and the adjustable parallax dials up nicely. If I should say anything bad about this scope, the image gets a bit blurry with 12x.

Overall the feel of the scope is sturdy and as other Bushnell scopes I own, I'm sure it will manage the cold and harsh winter… Read Full Review

It's a really good scope, had it on my 30-30 for about a year now and have taken it off once and put it back on and didnt have to resight it in. Great scope: dropped it, put it through the water and went deer hunting in the snow and it still works. It's great and I only bought the Bushnell Banner 4-12x40 AO for 35.00… Read Full Review

I put this scope on my Savage 17HMR Model 93R17-FSS, and was shooting 1/2 inch groups at 150 yards. The scope has had to go through rain then freezing temp. -20 F. The thing holds up really nice. After that freezing day of coyote hunting. I let the gun thaw out and no moisture was trapped in the scope and still was just as accurate as when i started. I have had the scope for almost a year now and it is the best scope i have ever had on a rim or centerfire. Other than the fact that the… Read Full Review

After putting this scope on a RWS 54 spring airgun i can state without doubt that this is one tough scope. I've put it through about 2000 rounds so far and
if it has changed zero i can't tell. It's the only inexpensive scope i have ever used that i can say that about. The adjustable objective is so well dialed in
that i can use the scope as a rangefinder, if its clear than its within 5 yard of what the scope says, pretty good product. I'd say you couldn't go wrong with this one… Read Full Review

I bought the Banner dusk-dawn to try in front of a separate night vision monocular. There is something about the scope that allows it to work really well with night vision equipment even though it is only a 1" body and only has an objective lens 40mm diameter. Its a very cheap scope making it excellent value for money. I have mine on my Daystate X2 sports and am delighted with it. The night vision performs well behind it, and the only drawback to the scope is that it does not have mil-dots.
