    Bad Points: Brakes


    General comments: The Volkswagen Sciroccos 1.8 GT has sporty looks, a quality body build, it's an awesome original hot hatch, quick and lively classic car.

    I have owned two Sciroccos and my dad used to have a 1.5 CL. this is the family's third, from 1989.
    It's a standard 1.8 carb, although with a Janspeed exhaust and very short gearing it is still great fun to drive when the mood takes it.
    don't like to drive at night too much because the headlights would be put to shame by a pocket torch (design fault), but that's the price you pay for driving a classic car!
    Runs like clockwork, fantastic value for money
