    Hi there!
    I booked a car through ACE on the website and was told in a reply that the car would be provided by County Car Rental.
    I got very worried about this when i read all the reviews here and considered cancelling my reservation - but I couldn't find a cheaper one (or one with a good review!!).
    I read the email from ACE and it explained the CDW costs and how to get to the desk at the airport. When we arrived the staff were polite and friendly and the cost matched the quote. We collected the car at the depot and after a great vacation returned to the same place with no drama. the car was checked and we were brought up to the airport.
    I would definately use them again.

    Made an online reservation with ACE Rental Car for a reasonable price (for Dublin anyway!). County Rental Car is there agent in Dublin. Got to the airport and arrived at the desk and was told that the OPTIONAL insurance was not optional! Told that my credit card insurance did not cover Ireland. I told them that it did, and they said that they would not accept it anyway. The cost of the insurance was more than the cost of the Car!!!     County Car Rental have hidden costs and suddenly you have the surprise. If you unlucky they blame you for damages at the car you never did and charge you for this.

    The entire experience was horrible. Upon arrival County Car Rental froze 900 euros in my bank account in case they would have to cover cost of damage. When we returned the car at Dublin airport they found one scratch at the front of the car that could have been rubbed out, they are now charging us approximately 1400 U.S. dollars for this one small repair.     Car was fine, no trouble with pickup and County Car Rental people were courteous, but WATCH OUT! There is no "unlimited mileage" -- even if you pay extra for a second driver! Also, returning a car to Dublin Airport at the hotel is currently a total mess because of the construction at the airport. There is nowhere to park, and unless the desk agent is kind enough to drive you to the airport (as ours was), you'll be at the mercy of the slow and crowded hotel shuttle.

    What a nightmare. The power source to recharge the GPS we rented did not work, stranding us in the middle of Ireland because County Car didn't bother to replace a fuse. Then they refused a refund because they were not there to inspect the car upon return (very convenient since they were open the fewest hours out of any of the rental places) and the fuse must have magically fixed itself upon return. The low tire pressure warning kept going off because they neglected to properly inflate the tires ...

    I have rented a car with County Rental that I have ordered via internet booking. They've sent me email quote with price and all conditions.
