Good Points: Fast CPU
Good amount of Hard Disk space, and a good amount of RAM with 3 empty slots to upgrade
Extremely quiet operation
Bad Points: None
General comments: The HP A1212 is a fantastic computer for Multimedia and gaming. Although it cannot play games that require high power graphics cards, it is easy to insert one into an available slot. A quick release screw lets you easily take off the case side without tools.
Some fantastic software comes pre-loaded on it too, such as Sonic DVD burner and Media Home with a Case labeler. Some handy tools such as PC Doctor for any problems, and it is very easy to use. Memory card slots are also on the front of the PC for digital camera cards. It has a DVD RW drive, a good amount of HDD space and a large amount of RAM, which is fully upgradable with the 3 extra RAM slots.
Full PC specifications...
80Gb Hard drive (6GB partition for backup and restoration tools)
1.8GHz AMD Sempron
512Mb RAM
ATi Radeon Xpress200 graphics (256Mb shared video Memory)
DVD RW drive
The package I bought came with a 17" Acer LCD monitor, which is not what the PC comes with originally (it was separate).
Overall, it is a great computer for all multimedia purposes and gaming, with some fantastic software and features.
