I have owned my 2005 Aprillia SR 50 R for ages now and i couldnt think of any better first bike, i have rode most 50cc bikes due to my mates all had different ones and i think with 50cc bikes there is no point in manual bikes

    good looking.
    cheap on fuel.
handles like a dream when your weaving in and out of traffic or when your cornering at higher speeds.
brakes are very good, sharp when you need them to be but not too sharp.
speedo has a cool little party piece when you switch the ignition on ( ...

An awsome looking scooter, I have the Black & red 2009 version, I only bourght it last saturday for £1700, well worth it. Even though its still resricted, its fast at acceleration for a 50cc & has amazing handling, you wont feel scared hitting a sharp right hander at full throttle.

I got my moped just over a month ago and so far it has been great. no problems with it so far except from my battery. the battery can drain quite fast because of the lights, display and all of that on. thats may be because of me starting it up lots of times without letting it have a good run. it also depends on the battery it has in it. when you start using it, the battery is fine and will work as long as you dont keep starting it up every 10 mins. If you get one of these mopeds, i seriously rec ...

This is a superve scooter. It is really fats and after de-restriction and an exhaust fitted it will do 60mph on a flat even with all 12 stone of me on it! It handles like a dream can be leaned right over with no fear of slipping and it pulls of fast too. I have heard that these scooters are amazing when 70cc as well.
Awesome bike well worth the money and a superve 1st bike.

The best scooter out now. I have Estonian version of SR 50 R. On the paper it owns 8hp. My Sr goes 60 Mph and easliy gets to this speed.
Fuel consumption is very high. My Aprilia takes about 4.0l for a 100km! I think it is quite much. I hop that after regulation of my carburettor it will decrease.

This moped is based on the 3 time moto GP winner Aprilia RSV 1000R superbike. In all the months I have had this moped, it still starts up just as good as when I first started it with just a little throttle (about 10% throttle) and just a quick blip on the starter and its away and also it is very good on the kick start with the same amount of throttle and just a light gentle kick. Secondly she is fantastic on the corners with brilliant control and pretty good acceleration. It is also very reliabl ...

As I've told many of my friends who own Honda scooters that are moded " for the price of your scooter plus the mods you where better off getting an Aprilia" . I'm not here to flame other scooters but when you see a little 90lbs kid duking under the handle bar to go to top speed wich is about 50 kmph it's pretty sad

I have owned the Aprilia SR 50 R Factory for a week now. It is the best scooter I owned or tried. (I own: Two Benellis and one foldable DiBlasi moped) (I have tried: Yamaha, Honda, Piaggio, Derbi)

SUSPENSION: The suspension of this scooter is hard. You can feel most bumps on the road, but the 13 inch weels easily take them (This scooter is really sturdy). (Note: the suspension is not as hard as the Piaggio NRG, but not as soft as the Derbi GP 1)

HANDLING: It is very good, even in wet and o ...

This Aprillia SR 50 R scooter is amazing in every way, it pleases in every aspect. I have an orange SR50R and it looks amazing, by far the best looking scooter currently out. It is very practical and very economical, I have had it for 150 miles and only had to fill up twice. I have not had a chance to de-restrict it due to running it in, but restricted and going down a large hill I hit 50mph and will clip 40mph on a straight. Before this I had an 2001 Aerox, I loved that bike, but if ever put ...
