What a complete waste of money has this Hoover - The One Pet been. I bought this with high expectations as Hoover have been around for a long time and we have dogs, carpets and wood floors so was expecting the One Pet to work well. In did the job okay for the first few weeks then the problems started.
Motorised brushbar doesn't have anti-jamming feature which means the toothed drivebelt strips its teeth.
Turbine hair brushbar accessory only works if main filters are clean otherwise the brushbar ...

motor on Hoover - The One Pet went after a few months hoover came out and replaced it and yet again it went but this time it was out of warranty, i took it to my local hoover repair center who told me to get another hoover as i would always have the same problem, so i ended up taking it to another shop this time i was told the same but the man had found that a motor from a panasonic cleaner fitted at that he had put the same one in quite a few hoover one touch cleaner with great sucess, it is no ...

This could have been a winner for Hoover after the disastrous Dust Manager range, but unfortunately the One range isn't much better. I think it's all down to the shoddy build quality and awful filtration which really isn't cut out for a vacuum of this size which is designed to cope with pet hair and will probably be used in larger homes.

Its a shame because when its working properly it's a great vacuum with some really cool features. The tools are great especially the mini turbo brush which i ...

I feel the purchase of the Hoover - The One Pet cleaner has been a waste of money, the only good thing was the engineer on his first visit ordered me replacement parts for no charge. from the day this vacuum was purchased I have had so many problems. Considering it is for "Pets" it does not cope very well, mine is constantly getting blocked even though I empty it continually. Within the first 6/8 months I called the engineers to it 2 times. I complained about its maneuverability and was told by ...

The main motor on my Hoover The One Pet has blown, dunno how but the windings on the motor were in bits, this was outside the warranty but don't really expect it to blow after such a short time. I notice its made in Italy and fairly cheap to replace ( £37.00) but Hoover wanted £70.00 to send an engineer out, we've decided we don't wanna spend anymore on it let alone another £100, we wont buy another hoover, especially after reading reviews here.

This hoover is total rubbish, it cuts out after 10-15 minutes and then needs about 20 minutes to start again! It takes me a whole day to hoover my house. It's very heavy and not for carrying up and down stairs. When we managed to get hold of anyone at the helpdesk they sent an engineer out who made it worse by breaking the hose clips off while apparently "fixing it"! A huge dissapointment.

This is the worst home appliance I have ever purchased. You think that buying a Hoover would mean good quality but it seems that this is the opposite. I will never buy anything of theirs again.

This is a good machine, very good at doing 'what it says on the tin', i.e., cleaning up after pets have been aound. It may be a little too fussy for some people who can't be bothered to keep the filters clean, but do that as recommended, and the machine is very, very good. The suction level is high, and the powered brush assemblies are very effective. Just make sure to RTFM, and you will be a happy bunny with this machine

The worst vacuum I have ever owned. It is a triumph of everything that you should not do when you rip off someone else's idea. They have taken everything that is good in a Dyson and turned it into a negative. The design team should win an award for Incompetence and the management should win an award for bring such a heap of junk to the market.

This product is fatally flawed, the filters get blocked by fine dust. Then the vacuum cuts out (thermal cut off). Bought extra filters, so we could wash one set whilst using the other. However, we're lucky to get 20 minutes from it before another cut out. 15-20 minute wait for it to reset. It's totally useless and is not fit for purpose, everyone should get a refund, unless Hoover address this their reputation will continue to be tarnished, maybe beyond repair (like their vacuum cleaners). Indee ...

Don't buy this product or any other hoover product as the warranty/customer help line is terrible.
When you purchase this product you are trapped if you have a problem (if over the 28 day that makro give you), the box tells you "dont take back to the retailer contact them ( not on a free phone number! but you pay, and they make more money out of you), i had mine repaired 4 time in 8 months and they finally sent be a replacement, not the same product (got no stock, or stopped making it) sent ...

I keep having to clean the filters, wont do as the book says 5 empties to 1 clean of filters.
Unit will cut out if filters are not clean and takes about 10-20 mins to reset.

Be careful on purchase as after 28 days any fault you need to call Hoover. so no chance of a re-fund, once you have it your stuck with it.
Hoover customer care any defect within First year you still have to pay for the phone call!!!! not free Phone ("HOOVER" you should make and warranty Claim Line A Free Phone!!!! it ...

It is VERY HEAVY. Bits fell off, and emptying was required after each use, including cleaning the filters. I had 3 service calls, and the motor was replaced twice! Broken floor brush. Now 4 weeks out of guarantee, Hoover do not want to know.

I have a vacuum cleaner that I paid £25.00 for, and it is miles better than the Hoover One Pet!!
