    Good Points: Clean.
    Friendly staff.
    Good food.
    Beach front.
    Swimming pool.
    Sunbeds on terrace/beach.


    Bad Points: Beach traders.
    Rat in restaurant!
    Early morning chorus by local birds(made me smile really).


    General comments: The Sunset Beach Hotel in Negombo is a good exceptionally clean 2/3 star hotel. The resort is nothing special and tourist numbers appear to be way down since the Tsunami. The restaurant is perfectly adequate and what is on offer is fine (just remember this is 2/3 star).
    The manager is a great character, he`s very friendly and helpful and seems to enjoy his job (always a big plus).
