We have a Technika DVDR2005 DVD player and it is only playing the backround audio i.e. music etc but not the full sound with voices. We've tried all of the audio setting but it won't work! It's not the TV either because the sound on this is working perfectly… Read Full Review

I got the Technika DVDR 2005 from Tesco for £68.00. If you are looking for a DVD recorder, or even just a DVD player, then this is the the one to buy.
This is a excellent DVD recorder/player that puts many other more expensive players to shame.
It can record from scart, S-Video, internal analogue tuner, composite video through phono lead and possibly DV (I don't have a DV device so I can't test it).
It will play through scart, optical, S-Video and composite video.
