Good Points: What you should know already re-explained in a way that doesn't make you blush.
Bad Points: It is talking about punctuation - it is going to get a bit dry... (sorry Lynne)
General comments: Eats, Shoots & Leaves is a very irreverent look at how Joe public is studiously avoiding some of the most basic principles of our language; as seen on shop windows, websites, and elsewhere in daily life. Lynne Truss cleverly turns this into a quest for paramilitary style action against the protagonists, by quite gently guiding them through their mistakes.
It is quite funny, but also horrifying that language usage has come to the point where such a book is even needed!
