We recently had a weekend break in Rotterdam and stayed at the Golden Tulip. We were shocked when entering the reception to discover a building site (we hadn't been informed of any work). However we cannot fault the service, the staff were very apologetic for the state of the reception and we were swiftly taken to our room. The room itself was very nice, the rest of the hotel facilities were fantastic and I would definitely recommend a stay here, just wait until the renovations have been completed - end of 2006.
