Have had 2 of these Hamno mattress's from Ikea, after, without any problem what so ever, they changed it for us after a year because of sagging, we now are awaiting our 3rd mattress repleacement from Ikea but Not the Hamno the SULTAN HJELM S so will let you know how we get on!! Ikea were brilliant for after sales and customer service we really cant fault them, exchanged to a more expensive mattress this time with no extra charge as a gesture of good will due to it being the 2nd time. Could have had a refund but would rather stay with them as they really try to sort things out and get an independent review on the item that is faulty.

First three nights of purchasing the mattress i woke up with sever back pain and had to move myself to the carpeted floor where i slept for a week until I went out and purchased a new mattress. I had 2 other people sleep on the mattress as well for a night and they each complained of back pain the next morning as well. This is the worse mattress EVER!

The salesperson was uniformed about the product. This should have been the first sign that the Ikea Sultan Hamno mattress was not very good quality!

I have had this Ikea Sultan Hamno mattress for 2+ years and have been loving it!

I have not experienced any of the sag the other reviewers have complained of, and I only flip my mattress once every 3 months or so. Be warned, if you like a bed that you literally sink into, this is NOT for you. I love firmer mattresses, and this has just enough spring to it that it is supportive without being too hard or uncomfortable. I always wake up feeling refreshed. I would recommend that any potential buyer ...

Ikea probably sell the worst mattesses in the world. Ikea Sultan Hamno sagged in middle within months of my 9 stone son sleeping on it.

Really disappointed with the Ikea Sultan Hamno mattress, sagged within 6 months. Ikea refused to exchane or give our money back. we both have severe backaches but can't afford to buy another matress as this cost us 300.

The Ikea Sultan Hamno is not suitable for large people as it will sag in a very short time. For normal weight it lasts about 4 years before sag sets in which isn't bad considering the price.

I bought this sultan hamno matress and it's hard as a rock and seems to be higher on one side than the other. I have tried turning it but it makes no difference. Told IKEA nad they didn't want to know.

Ikea Sultan Hamno sagged after a year. Wife got back pain. May not be related to this bed but we will get another one.

Turning around mattress bed doesn't improve the sag.

We have had the Ikea Sultan Hamno mattress for 4 years and my back has got progressively worse. I only get a good night's sleep when we stay at a hotel! Rock hard, sagging where we sleep despite turning. We have out a Sultan topper on it which helps marginally. Meanwhile I'm researching proper mattresses which might fit an Ikea bed.

Only had my Ikea Sultan Hamno mattress 18 months but for the last 6 or so its been sagging in the middle. Every night I have to prop myself up against a pillow to stop rolling into the middle of it, if I don't I often end up rolling onto my back and wake up in pain. Its getting to the point where I have to turn it over every couple of weeks. Still have the receipt so will start my campaign on Monday to get them to acknowledge what a poor product this is.

Buy an Ikea Sultan Hamno if you love to sleep well! It is the best mattress we've ever had. There is nothing bad about this. Value for money is excellent and so is the mattress

The sultan hamno matress from IKEA is hard as a rock. It was supposed to be medium, but in fact I spent a sleepless night on it. They wouldn't accept it back because we threw out the packaging. I ended up spending more money for an extra matress to be kept on top - the Sultan Tuvebo. That helped a bit.
I was very disappointed with IKEA.

The Sultan mattress I bought from Ikea sagged where I slept within one month and since then I've struggled with neck and back pain when I wake up in the morning. After one year of sleeping on different positions on it to try not to sag it in the same spot each time, I'm going to throw it out and buy a new mattress. I deserve better sleep for what I paid for it, and Ikea should reject this inferior product as soon as possible.

The Ikea Medium Hamno mattress is ROCK hard, and even Ikea can't decide whether to change it's category, as half the time they are selling it as medium and half the time as hard. Save your back, and save your shoulders.

I first bought the Sultan Hustad mattress, and for the first week I thought it was about the most comfortable mattress I had slept on. For me it turned out to be too soft, and you can sort of tell that the Hustad is the bare minimum in some way. It hardly supports you. So I took it back to IKEA and they allowed me to return it very easily, after having had it for two months (though I did have the original bag and the receipt, and it should be said: they only allow you to return a mattress for ...
