    Good Points: It works.
I forward all mail to spamcop as my ISP (Eclipse) has problems with some. Nothing has got past Spamcop and it is clever at trapping in a held mail file those spams using regular changes to get around spamfilters.
Whitelist excellent to bypass filters once proper mail spotted in hold file
Fast webmail and can make outgoing mail appear to come from proper originating email address - great when travelling.
Easy to set up forwarding to get mail back into PC's mail system (Thunderbird in my case)
Reports and hopefully helps to kill all notifications
Cheap at just over £15 pa though if Eclipse were on the ball I wouldn't need Spamcop
    Responsive support
Daily (if required) held mail report
    Choice of blocking lists

Bad Points: If used purely as webmail rather than forwarding has problems with content especially when forwarding.

General comments: If Spam is getting into your mailbox, the use of Spamcop especially linked with Thunderbird and its filters for example can free up your mailbox without changing the way you deal with mail. Maintenance is simple. I just check held mail daily, whitelist those addresses that don't need checking, a reducing task as time goes on, select all spam messages and click on "report spam". I then get a report confirming that all the spam has been notified to the relevant people. If we don't use services like this and just delete the spam then it won't be stopped effectively - for just over £1 a month Spamcop seems to be doing the business

I was receiving a great deal of spam, and I could not find anyway to unsubscribe, and so I decided to find some way to report it.

Spamcop seemed the answer, so I signed up. I was using it for only a couple of weeks when my website account was suspended by my hosting company. They told me I had been reported for spamming by Spamcop! After a great deal of stress and investigation, it turned out that it had been one of my reports that had caused it. The original spam email had included my domain ...
