    Good Points: The Sansa Sandisk MP3 (blue, 512 mb, model m230) is a great little portable player. It has nice sound level and quality, and is easy to download songs on to.


    Bad Points: This MP3 is great, but the package does not tell you how many songs the MP3 holds. Rather the amount of MB that can be contained. This can be somewhat confusing and frustrating.


    General comments: The Sandisk Sansa M230 is a great product, and I would recommend it to potential customers.

    My Sandisk Sansa M230 stopped working after 3 days. When I subsequently read reviews on Amazon it seems like a lot of other people had the same problem with it. Amazon were very good - refund immediately but I know some people had theirs break after a few months which would be a pain.

    For the price; I paid $59.99, you can't beat the Sandisk Sansa M230 512Mb MP3 Player. If all you want is a music player with no bells and whistles, this is it.

    File transfers are easy. Just drag and drop. Can be set for MSC or MTP. I had troubles with my computer recognizing MTP. I set it for MSC, and it picked it up and recognised it as a drive to enable transferring files.
