    Good Points: guinate is in a quiet location but not far from the beach, shops and within walking distance to the old town and the shopping mall. the apartments[2bedroom] are large and well planned, clean and the outside areas around the pool and complex are spotless. small bar open certain times & pool table.


    Bad Points: the reception is open for a few hours in the morning & evening, guest arriving late im not sure what would happen as one family was sent elsewhere by their company as there was no arrangements made for their late arrival. if you have a problem there is no one to help[although the maintinace staff are very good] the pool was supposed to be heated but as we was there xmas the pool was colder than the sea and not heated as stated.


    General comments: guinate does not have a security person at night but there is doors that residents have the key to that are locked at night to prevent people getting in the complex. the reception does not appear to be locked when no one is there, that could be worrying as all the keys to security box's and the aparments are in there. i found guinate relaxing and no one bothered you, staff was very helpful and friendly. would stay there again it was busy there over the xmas week but it was still quiet, no loud music or rowdyness late at night.

    My first impression was that Club Guinate would be similar to other apartments we've visiting at Lanzarote, but this ones make a difference at their perfect location and no noise at all, wich is very important when you try to sleep in a town so "night friendly" as Puerto del Carmen.

    Also feeling safe. We had no bad experiences in Lanzarote, but the permanent presence of a guard is something that we haven't found at any of the other rentals, and I consider this very important to feel good in h ...
