These tires are awesome for spirited rides and trackdays. They are very sticky near the edges, which gives you the confidence to roll on the throttle out of turns. The only thing I did not like about these tires is that they wear very quickly. They are not for commuters. I got about 4k miles on my last set, which included 1 track day and twice a month spirited rides. Highly recommended for the spirited rider.

I have a CBR 600 F first bike it came with Dunlop 207's After 3000 miles done in the first 8 weeks i had a front end slip at 45 mph on a damp curve the next day i changed them for Pilot Power 2CT's. they have excelent grip, and feel, that corner has no fear for me any more. I can get 3500 miles out of a rear and 7000 out of a front.

michelin pilot power is the best tyre i have and will ever use i think they are the perfect tyre for my cbr600rr 07 they seem to have endless grip and stibiltiy wet and dry even before you get heat in them. there has been no problem with the tyres yet as they are so good, however not sure how long they will last but if the performance is anything to go by probley not long haha.

The Pilot Power 2CT is an exceptional tyre! I bought the new 2009 R1. The 1000cc bikes do tear through back tyres! The standard tyres did not last long at all (Rear, 1500m - Front, 2100m) They were pretty decent tyres to be fair but would work out far too costly to run them. Since the 2CT's have gone on, I will never own a different tyre again. The grip level is fantastic and boosts your cornering confidence right from the word go. They also turn in so quickly and easily. Very predictable and th ...

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT seems to have good wear, feels good in the wet but did have a big step out at 140kmh in the heavy rain; bad aussie roads; does have better feel than the conti attack.

Good all round handling, $60 cheaper than Conti Attack.

Michelin Pilot Power is a great tyre - using them on my KTM 990 SM - only problem is the milage life -
i have done around 1100 miles and they are already worn reckon i will get another 500 miles from them. Used mainly on twisty roads - is 1600 mile a good life ? Maybe not - how can you do 4500 miles no way not on a KTM anyway

Scrubbed these Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tyres in within 2km at local twisties... had them within the edge within minutes.. excellent tyre... came back to the same spot later on after i had stopped raining and tried them in the rain.. excellent results, huge feedback gave lots of confidence... and still have very large amounts of grip.. highly recommended tyres. Massive grip, massive feedback, great stability, very quick warm up time :) 10/10

Bought the tyres and noticed a differance to my old ones, I have used these on a track and have still got a further 4500 miles out of them, realy pleased. I even do a lot of motorway riding as well as a good blast on the open country roads.

Have had Dunlop 218's on my 2006 cbr600rr since new and never felt comfortable with them even after 2+ years and 4000 miles. Front seemed very vague and slipped out on a few occasions in dry and not even pushing hard. Still had 10-15mm chicken strips on rear and more on front but NEVER had confidence to go further despite many hours practicing on shell grip roundabouts!
Had the Pilot Power 2ct's fitted and did 50 miles to scrub them in......to within 2mm from edge of rear......what a transformat ...

Riding 26 years (legally) on street...a friend said I had to try these tires. His R1 was equipped stock with Pilot 2 CT's, and I was shocked with the grip I had when I rode it. I put them on my CBR 1000 and I have never felt so confident in my life. I have 4200 miles on this set and can use a change out any day, with medium to moderate amounts of aggressive riding. In fact, I just ordered replacements today. Lower mileage, but shear and utter safe feeling braking and cornering! The best tire on ...

Well worth it, forget the rest. Unbelieveable grip, warm up very quick. These things give you so much confidence you swear blind you could outdo rossi in a bend! I've just done a rear tyre to limit in about 5000 miles but that was some hard riding both motorways and bendy stuff. I have just ordered my next set, worth every penny.

Awesome tire... I Have a '06 Yamaha R1, which came stock with dunlop d218. I never could get any traction and in fact wrecked because of the dunlop's. I immediately got a set of Pilot Powers. the difference was night and day. then came time for a new rear and the new Pilot Power 2CT had arrived. I am currently running a Pilot Power front and a Pilot Power 2CT rear. which will be replace within the week for a P.P.2CT front and rear... the lean angle, stability and road feedback from these tires i ...

A little history first: After a set of Dunlop Sportmax and then a set of Bridgestone BT014s, I got a set of the regular Michelin Pilot Powers for my GSXR 600. The Pilot Powers made a huge difference in the handling and responsiveness of the bike. They are truly a confidence inspiring tire. Now to the new Pilot Power 2CT... I also have an 05 Gixxer 750 that I bought with Dunlop 218Fs on it. The bike always seemed to lack grip and the rear end never felt firmly planted, so when the new Pilot Powe ...

These are excellent tyres which give consistent grip levels in all conditions from the off. Fast warm-up time and confidence-inspiring. I would recommend these tyres whole-heartedly to anyone. I use 2 CTs myself on my Ducati 916 without any worries.

I have done the California Superbike School levels 1 - 3 on 3 different R1's, Level 1 on the Michelin Pilot Power - good grip level on an '03 R1, level 2 on my '05 R1 with Dunlop 208's (Original Equipment) - total lack of feedback from the rear tyre - not a good feeling. The level 3 was done on the 2CT's and the difference was substantial. The tyres felt planted to the tarmac all day; even with some over ambitious (for my part) braking and late corner entries on my R1 SP.

On the open road you ...

I've previously owned Dunlap D207, Dunlap D208S, Maxxis supersports and Perelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro Take Off. The 2ct's turned in very quicky. More so than the the previous tires mentioned. I suspect it's due to the profile of the tires. The tires heated up very quickly and can be ridden hard in just a few miles. I have also ridden them in the rain but did not push my luck with them. From what I can gather, they are also great in the rain. A great product from Michelin. Will definitly pur ...

If you are not familiar with the new Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tyres here is a little bit of info, the tyre looks exactly like the regular pilot powers, same thread design and same profile but on the 2CT model (stands for 2 Compound Technology) the shoulders of the front tyre is 20% softer and the shoulders of the rear tire is 22% softer. So it is dual compound tyre like the power race but with more threads and mainly for ultra high performance streets/canyon riding. I have to say these tyres are ...
