Good Points: Attractive, not to large low distortion expansive imaging
Bad Points: some lower-midrange emphasis on voices
General comments: I've had these PSB Stratus Mini Stereo Speakers for over 10 yrs. now and these hefty stand mounteds have spent time off and on in my main system but I've always liked their honest easy musical presentation. The aluminum dome is quite refined if a little recessed. The 6.5 inch woofer does a great job from the mid range to the bass, and the bass is strong enough that a subwoofer could even be considered optional for music listening. From what I hear the updated Minis have some improvements to the cabinets to reduce resonances. Bi-wirable/Bi-ampable connections accept dual banana plugs and the general construction of these PSB's is excellent. These are really great speakers for an average sized room and have a full-range sound like the floor-standers.

Beautifull mini monitors. I adore these speakers. As MANY will agree there is something lacking on both ends of the sound range. I actually like the cut off highs (sensitive ears) The lack of lows has been filled in by a sub. I know these beauties will last me quite awhile. And I am enjoying every clear and wonderfull note.
As for value for the money. You can get a pair of silvers for just a little more so they might not be the best in that area. But they sure do sing.
I got mine for a steal, h ...
