    Good Points: GREAT snow traction. Very quiet, attractive and aggressive looking tread pattern.


    Bad Points: Not inexpensive, but less than my Bridgeston Revos were.


    General comments: Purchased the Nokian All Season tires (265 70 17) and had them mounted during a snowstorm that deposited 16 inches.
    From the moment I left the shop I could tell these tires gripped VERY well, about as good as my Revos did, which cost a lot more, two trucks ago.
    These tires replaced my Hankooks, which completely sucked in rain, let alone snow.
    Back to the Vatiiva A/T. Breaking hard in snow, very little slippage. The day prior, my Hankooks with ABS braking, locked up from 50 yards out and into middle of intersection, through red light!
    Accelerating/cornering in deep, wet snow is no longer a problem and I'm driving a pickup, 1500 Ram Quad Cab. There was a little, but not much slip.
    Finally had some dry pavement today and these tires are amazingly quiet and smooth, a noticeable difference. No idea yet if MPG will improve, too busy stomping the gas trying to spin in the snow!
    Very good looking tire with outstanding performance.

    Great tires. Buying a 2nd set for my new car. I've only had these for 5000km and so far they are problem free. Gives me confidence that I will get anywhere I want to go in the most snowy conditions. Looks nice and meaty for SUVs

    In my experience this is the worst tracking all season tire I have ever used. The tire was fine for summer use, but my handling is unstable in any depth of snow over a dusting. I skid when stopping at any speed above 8 mph in snow.

    I purchased these tires for winter driving in southern co. Haak 2 eco stud 195/65 /R15. I used these tires for approx 500miles, they were dismounted and correctly stored for summer. Upon re-mounting for winter, one of the tires showed 2 grapefruit size protrusions on the sidewall. Remember these tires had been in storage and not in use.     I bought a full set of Nokian 205/55 V16 all season tyres for my Saab 9000 Aero (225bhp) in January 2004. The total price, including fitting/valves and balancing was £240.

    I am just about to replace them this week i.e. 31st January 2006, and there is still about 4mm of tread left after 41,000 miles on a heavy 4 wheel drive car. They have never lost traction or needed re-balancing!
