Shocking, not only was the website slow but it kept stating an error in the data but not what this was or how to fix it. Never got the results as gave up

Utterly dreadful, unusable website. Wasted 20 mins of my life entering personal details then couldn't get past the 'occupation' page no matter what I tried. No idea if they offer good deals or not - I just couldn't get the site to work. Avoid at all costs!- Read Guest's review (46 words)

Confused.com definitely worth a visit. We saved £100 on our comprehensive car insurance: cheaper than going direct to the Insurer's website - I checked this twice! Confused website easy to navigate back and forth to check my data input was correct! I would recommend to friends and family.- Read mumofthree's review (48 words)

Confused.com - yes it is! What a waste of time! After spending 20 minutes putting in all my personal details, I got a page full of quotes that were wrong. I then had to be directed to all the insurers websites where the quotes had to be recalculated and all my quotes ended up being £200 or more HIGHER than what I had originally been told on confused.com. I had to spend the rest of the day calling all the insurers trying to find the best quote - confused.com actually made getting my ins ...- Read Guest's review (101 words)

After forgetting my password for Confused.com from last year I tried to reset it. During the process I'm informed by a pop-up screen that an email has been sent to me telling me to follow the link etc. which will enable me to reset it. After repeated attempts I have not once received the promised email NOT even in my Spam folder. So, I try and log on as a new customer only to be told after completing other details, that my email address has been recognised(from last year) but the NEW password I ...- Read Crumpeteer's review (122 words and 1 comment)

I had to provide various information to become signed up to confused.com. I then had my details shared with various other companies (i.e. junk mail lists), NOT what I want.
I complained to confused.com and they promised me they'd remove me from their mailing lists. However, I still get mailings and I would never advise anyone else to use them.- Read Guest's review (113 words)

I didn't even get as far as a quote on confused.com. I refuse to give out information such as my mother's maiden name. Why do they need this information just to register? Anyone who does give this information at this stage deserves everything they get. I used a different site instead, with great results.- Read Guest's review (55 words)

My online quote application failed on several accounts. My wife is a curtain maker, but we were forced to put her down as a "Boot & Shoe Maker" otherwise it wouldn't accept the page.
Then it couldn't find our car from the registration and so forced us into manually completing the details - which was ok until the lookup model page produced a nice apricot background with nothing on it.
So the whole process failed after 20 minutes of timewasting.
I thought I'd try and contact them, but the "Contac ...- Read Guest's review (160 words)

In my opinion, the idea of filling in a form on line is horrible, but once you are over that (and its easier now, I grant you), confused.com seems perfectly good and, I testify, it did saved me oodles of cash on a car insurance quote.
I can't stand the tv adverts, I don't even like the brand name, but it did what it said it would and meant I got a good insurance deal. so you can't say fairer than that.- Read degbert's review (83 words)

Confused.com provides some accurate quotations. Gave me leverage to negotiate with current insurer for renewal. We searched online for car insurance last year via other sites, and bought a great policy with the Post Office, with the right balance of cost, excesses and cover. When our renewal came this year, we weren't happy with the slight increase in cost, so we tried other well known comparison sites for a better deal. We got various quotes from different insurers but the excesses were hig ...- Read Guest's review (287 words)

I, like lots of others decided to shop about for car insurance a week before the renewal date in December 2008. I went onto confused.com and entered all my details. I found the site very user friendly and easy to understand and yes I did find quotes that were cheaper than my current insurer - however, the quotes were not quite correct as they had assumed my car was to be insured on a classic policy and would be used only as a weekend toy. Once the confusion (no pun intended) was cleared up, the ...- Read marco999's review (216 words)

I signed up to Confused.com a few days ago to get some quotes for my first ever car insurance I was unimpressed with the selection of car insurance quotes. I was expecting far more, but only about 15 showed up and the majority were not available.A few days later and I have started recieving junk mail in the post from various car insurances... I am absolutely furious. I have never given my details to anyone for car insurance quotes in my life except for Confused.com, so I know for a fact that the ...- Read ChrisBUK2's review (121 words)

After receiving my renewal from Norwich Union which included a nice £200 increase I decided to use Confused.com.
From my original quote from NU of £620 the rise to £820 was not going to happen. Confused.com search deeley went about its business and came back with a load of quotes.
The lowest was £240 but with an £600 excess which was ridiculous but the next quote of £309 with a £200 excess Fully comp was right up my street.
Needless to say I call ...- Read Stillnessintime's review (139 words)

I have just used confused.com for the first time and have saved over £150 on home and contents insurance. The website is very easy to use, the quotes were genuine and I took them out within minutes online......Excellent. I have always dreaded renewal time because I literally spend hours on the phone getting quotes. I am actually looking forward to next year to see how much more I can save!!!!!! WELL DONE CONFUSED :)- Read Guest's review (87 words)

My quote was less than my current (LV) but LV kept saying the quote was corrupted and when resubmitted was still corrupted. 2. Dozens of quotes going into the £`000s, when my existing quote for B+C is 300. Waste of time- Read Guest's review (42 words)
