    Good Points: Good looking great handling and performance fantastic styling and reliable.


    Bad Points: Roof rattles some interior plastic parts scratched easy run flat tires suck.


    General comments: I have had two of these cars and the dealer resolved all of the problems. However I got rid of the run flat tires put on Pirellis like the car should have, had and bought a tyre inflator (electric), and a container of sealer, most of the time you could manage with air alone.

    The BMW Z4 is a nice comfortable car to drive, but far far too many problems have occured with it which has really dented the pleasure of owning the car. My wife has far less trouble with her Peugeot 206 and its 2 years older.
    Since I have had the car, both back springs have failed, a reverse sensor, pasanger seatbelt sensor, handbrake assembly, wiper linkage, all failed. Also the coils needed replacing as the engine started to misfire. I certainly did not expect this from a brand new BMW and it ...

    The BMW Z4 2.2i SE is a great looking car, fantastic lines and with 18's stands proud. Handles well and very responsive. Performance is enough and as you sit low it seems a lot faster. I had a turbo Audi before this and the Z4 has more burst of speed. Quick roof turns heads and on a hot day its a perfect car.
    Amazing. The BMW Z4 2.2i SE is the best looking roadster around, reliable and great to drive!

    However nice the BMW Z4 looks, or how good the engine is, these all become insignificant when you have to listen to all the rattles and vibrations. The whole experience of driving this car is not enjoyable and I wish I had never bought it. My local BMW dealer is arrogant and rude and it is the last BMW I will buy.
