    Bad Points: None!

General comments: The smell of Estee Lauder Cinnabar is fantastic and works well with my body chemistry. It has a great spicy scent but is not overpowering like many floral perfumes.I get stopped all the time by people complimenting me on my perfume and asking what it is. Someone once told me that women are either floral or spice - Cinnabar is definitely spice.

Started years ago by wearing my mom's Youth Dew Fragrance of Estee Lauder.

Then was in a department store, the perfume section and came across Cinnabar, has been my trademark since then to be honest. I do get so many lovely comments on how nice it is, husband LOVES it too.

I still have many other perfumes on my dresser, like to change up every so often. One of them is Opium which is very nice also, I do prefer this fragrance over even Opium!

I walked into a department store and smelled this scent as I walked past the perfume counter. It was so distinctive that I made the salesperson pull fragrances out over and over until I identified it. That was about 20 years ago! I have been wearing it ever since. My son went off to college and he said that when he came home for breaks, one of the best things about being home was walking into our bathroom and smelling the lingering scent of this perfume. On any number of other occasions, p ...

I love Estee Lauder Cinnabar perfume. I am a perfume addict, and I have many different kinds. This is one I go back to over and over again. It's rich, layered and spicy. I'm wearing it today, as a matter of fact. This is definitely a cold weather scent.

A fabulous exotic perfume, that really comes alive during the dark winter months. I have never met a man that wasn't attracted by it! Your friends will loathe you for getting all the comments about the perfume you are wearing!Pricey - but worth it, like everything else in life.

This Estee Lauder Cinnabar Perfume should come with a warning - wearing this is like telling the world you are hot stuff, untamed and exciting. It is not for the fainthearted! If this were a person, she would be wild, outrageous and a bit of an exhibitionist. She would have long blonde wavy tussled hair let loose around a cheeky, yet elegant, heavily yet tastefully made up face. We are talking bright red lipstick against porcelain skin! She would wear a bright red tight fitting and very sexy ...

After an opening that is reminiscent of a clove-studded peach, the dry-down of Estee Lauder Cinnabar perfume is rich, spicy and contemplative. This is certainly not a perfume for shrinking violets.
I would want to hug someone who wore this. It envelops the wearer like a warm, red blanket and makes them seem expansive and giving. I believe it can cause headaches in those that are so inclined, but fortunately I'm not one of them.
It's probably prudent to apply this with a light touch nonetheless ...

I love many Estee Lauder fragrances but Cinnabar is the fragrance equivelent of a trainwreck. It hits you hard, and keeps on going. There's nothing subtle or haunting about this scent. It lacks the sophistication of other heavy oriental scents such as Opium. Its cloying and heavy and prone to giving migraines. Strong personalities, or demonic possession might be able to pull it off. Not for the faint of heart

Estee Lauder Cinnabar is one of the best perfumes I have ever worn, and it is so long lasting and is on a par with Clinique Aromatics.

It is a very heavy rich perfume, and very spicy, and I feel it is best worn in the autumn/winter.

It was first produced in 1946/47 and has been on the market constantly since then - Estee don't even advertise it anymore, as it has been around for so long. Superb perfume, but not one for those who like light and flowery.
