MY PEUGEOT 107 5 DOOR IS GREAT!!

Changed my trusty old Nissan Almera GX because I had had it from new for 8 years and it had never let me down until 2 weeks ago when the battery gave up (now that's not bad after 8 years!) BUT I am 65 and thought it was time that I had a smaller more economical vehicle.

Did a lot of Internet research and asked around and saw exactly what I wanted at a local garage - one year old with only 2000 miles on the clock. I opted for FIVE doors as I do not like the very large doors on the 3 door model of any car. It is a very good car for its size, very nippy and accelerates a lot faster that I thought it would. It is very roomy, in fact surprisingly so and the boot is adequate for my needs - able to carry about 6 large bags of shopping; there is also PLENTY of LEG ROOM for the rear passengers. It is rather noisy after the larger Nissan but not unbearably so.
There is central locking which also locks and unlocks the boot which is manually opened from the rear.

Upholstery and carpeting is pretty good, kind of a plush grey velvety type with grey PVC trimming. The radio and CD player is good, better than I expected in the size of the car.
All around visibility IS rather compromised by the UN-adjustable headrest of the front passenger seat so you have to lean a little when reversing but otherwise it's OK.

The one real annoyance for me is that there is no REAL glove compartment - it is open so there is nowhere that you can put things out of sight. Things can be put under the front seats BUT only from the rear. However this is really a minor point and is outweighed by the fact that it does 65 mpg and the Road Tax is only £35 per annum instead of the £120 I paid for the Nissan. It also fits into much smaller spaces than the Nissan and is much easier to manoeuvre.
The Insurance is also very low because of the size

The fuel tank of Peugeot 107, Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo can be easily damaged in the event of a rear-end collision which may result in fire. Many owners complain that airbags of the 107, C1 and Aygo sometimes inflate when a collision is not present, but the driver presses the brake pedal in order to stop the car suddenly. Others complained that their airbags didn't inflate when needed, so they were injured as a result. The 107, C1 and Aygo are prone to rollovers due to their proverbial stability ...

I ordered my 107 2-tronic in June 08 and waited 4 months for it as it was a special build with electronic stability programme,air-con,rear parking sensors, rev counter and curtain airbags. It has been a superb little car since I got it - easy to park and sips petrol.Low VED,and insurance costs cut running costs to the bone as does its 60mpg consumption. In town it is very nippy in traffic but is really surprisingly good on the motorway too with good acceleration for overtaking with one passenger.Pe ...

A superb city car thats just at home on the motorway, the only place it seems to dislike is petrol stations, which is why seems a full tank of fuel will never end!

Overall the car has been great, its better than any other we seen, and we got a great deal on it as it was a showroom car so it knocked loads of the price, Peugeot were great, they really went out of their way to help us, You really cant knock this car, its been brilliant, I've had no problems! 10/10.

Bought brand new around 10 months ago, have done 10,000 miles very cheaply, nothing has broken or gone wrong so far, £30 fills it up with fuel and lasts for ages, its only real fault is that you feel crosswinds quite a bit and you are aware of the narrow tyres if you are pressing on a bit, otherwise superb small car, surprisingly quick for a 1.0 litre, will cruise on the motorway at surprisingly decent speeds.

The Peugeot 107 is my 1st ever car from brand new, in fact I haven't even got it yet, due to pick it up the beginning of Sept. Took it for a nice test drive though, and that sold it to me. Got the 3 door Urban Move Special addition so gets mat paint and air con which are all good, and all come with a great price. Driving it was great fun and surprising as wasn't expecting it to be so nippy for a 1L. I would recommend it to anyone and cannot wait to get mine.

The Peugeot 107 1.0 3dr is excellent in terms of fuel consumption giving £10 for 100 miles (approximately) and the car tax is only £40 for 12 months due to it being a very eco-friendly car. Insurance is cheaper for this than my old 1997 1.2 Ford Ka even though this is brand new. I'm only 18 and it's brilliant - they didn't sacrifice quality even though it's such good value for money.

The Peugeot 107 1.0 3dr is a brilliant little car and is everything I want and more but next time I buy one I will opt for air conditioning. It's easy to park, very nippy, fuel consumption is excellent and it's a fun car to drive. You do however, you get a lot of turbulence on motorways, but it's a great little car!

The 107 is my first New car and it is everything I wanted it to be and more. Firstly the whole experience of buying new was a pleasure, Peugeot treated me fantastically and bent over backwards to help with my issues, and secondly the after service is fantastic.
I had a superb deal on the passport option, something I would recommend to every potential buyer.
About the car.... It drives like a dream, sooo very comfortable and best of all it is extremely nippy for a 1L engine. It is a real head ...

The Peugeot 107 was bought as a city car, it doesn't force as many sacrifices as a Smart, and performs the role brilliantly. The engine is a marvel , a revvy little triple that delivers surprising performance and sips petrol. Equipment is fine and Toyatas influence shows throughout the car. All the controls work with a solidity to shame the rest of the Peugeot range. Basically if you are looking for a small city car than can still bring a smile on a twisty lane I'd recommend the 107. This car is ...
