    Good Points: the free gifts and the easy money


    Bad Points: they send letters home


    General comments: I like HSBC but i think the interest should be a bit higher as its lower than some other banks at the moment.

    I am an international student so I cant get a credit card so I guess my only choice is to go for a so called prepaid credit card.

    The debit card is by far the worst on the market, the limits are not high enough, the number of stores that have rejected the card has been a problem and when you call them to report it the customer service is just appalling

    The HSBC Premier Debit Card has a £250 cheque guarantee and Maestro Debit. You can withdraw £1000 a day (also free abroad). I believe this is the ultimate debit card. You also get a Premier MasterCard credit just in case you can't use Maestro.

    Unfortunately, you have to earn 75K a year or more and have a mortgage with HSBC of £1000,000 or more to be able to get the card for free. if you don't have a mortgage with them, you can pay the fee of £19.95 a month, as long as ...
