Good Points: Power - quicker than its VW golf counterpart.
    Looks.
    Interior.

    Bad Points: MPG
    Electrics can go wrong.

General comments: I own a SEAT Ibiza 20vt 52 plate, I have owned this car for 1 year. My electric windows have had to be fixed my suspension bushes need replacing.
Apart from that its been a dream to own!
I'd much rather spend £6000 on a 52 plate SEAT 20vt than £7500 on a VW golf of the same year.

Overall the SEAT Ibiza 1.8 20VT Cupra is a great car, good performance, good looks, and is fairly economical (35 mpg) depending on how you drive it.
Plus for any petrol heads out there, the car can be modified in various ways for fairly low costs.

Out of the box the mk3 came with 156bhp and this may well be adequate for many to play with. The new mk4 Cupra comes with an uprated 180bhp but still from the same engine.
For relatively low investment (£280-500) the ECU can be remapped and this will offer decent improvements in power and torque (e.g. ~200-220bhp from a simple remap).
