    I tried to book holidays to Turkey yesterday - every hotel I asked for was about 1/3 more expensive than they advertised on their web site. Rubbish!

    What a shower of wet dump.......Tried to book 2 holidays only to have a none english speaking lady laughing at me as she could not understand their own booking ref????????????????? DO NOT USE. When she did finaly understand me and type the correct ref number in the price was nearly double that of the internet price??????????????????????. V POOR.... times infinity..... Might be easier to drive to the travel agents....

    We will not book via Teletext ever again !! We called them to book our holiday in Egypt last May 2009. We booked ourswelves into a particular hotel but once we received the confirmation, we realised that we were booked into another hotel. In the meantimes, we checked the reviews and realised the hotel had horrible reviews. We had to pay an extra to be booked into another hotel.     My review of teletext holidays is not that good as when you have selected a holiday and you phone them up the price is always more than what it tells you on the website i have found this twice and been told well they have put the price up.I have used teletext holidays in the passed and found them good value for money but this year i can't seem to get what they are actually advertising

    never book with TELETEXT OR JML TRAVEL EVER! they are the worst company i have ever know jml staff cannot spell and then question me if i can spell my own name!!! if you speak to a girl called helen skyes or jane millingan than dont waste your breathe!! they are 2 idots together they cant spell and they dont have any customer service! i have had to spend an extra £80 on changing my name that was spelt wrong because of helen not understanding english! if you want a cheap hoilday then dont b ...

    Booked in May to Salou, paid for transfers to hotel, none appeared. Left marooned at airport early in morning. Rung firm, no reply, paid 38 euros for taxi to get to hotel. In all cost was £73, with what I had already paid out before. On arrival back to U.K. contacted me again. I was informed not their fault. I pointed out that it ' s not mine either, their firm booked the transfers. Another thing, all I received was documents for the flights, none for transfers/hotel, me personally, relat ...

    Under quoted on price took me several calls for them to realise they were under quoting me. What a waste of time in my opinion.

    After 7 hours travelling at night were told at marcan beach hotel turkey we were doublebooked and taken up in the hills to another hotel to be told they could not have us either.
    Therefore we were stranded with nowhere at 3am and only had bus driver with us who could not speak english eventually he took us to his friends 2star hotel and didnt get to bed til 4am.
    Phone lines not open til 11am, therefore not settled in original hotel until afternoon.
    What a great start. Also had to pay for 2star h ...

    I have now booked 3 holidays via teletext and all have been disappointing ,. additionally trying to follow up issues on return has been equally frustrating ... i would warn anybody not to book hotels via hotel 4U or media travel ...

    I have now booked and been on 3 holidays via teletext advertisements, and I feel that all three holidays have been disappointing and not for me. I thought that I was getting cheap holidays.

    Sadly the comments from all the British people at the hotel we stayed in seemed to me to be the same. I couldnt recommend this hotel to anyone. The Horizon Sharm do not in my experience cater for people from outside Eastern Europe. Nearly all the food was of poor quality for Western European tastes and standards. In my opinion all travel operators should remove this hotel from there brochures, to save them future problems.

    We looked at the site as we were looking for a cheaper quote then what we had already had from our local Travel Agent. Via the site we found a company called www.jetlinetravel.com and booked the holiday online for £125pp cheaper then what we were quoted. Also found there was a lot of other good offers on the site.

    Worth checking if you are looking to beat your best price. the holiday we booked was great!

    The Teletext Holidays website is great for "shopping" for your bargain holidays! It gives you all necessary primary information. However, you do come across some very unprofessional tour companies that are solely after money! This is not the fault of the site, so be sure to use it to your advantage!

    Telextext Holidays is a great directory for finding specific holiday destinations and for getting holiday ideas. You can sort the results into specific companies, arrange to only display companies with free phone numbers, search by destination and between certain dates etc. The site is easy to navigate, as is the teletext version. The only problem is usually when you ring the company, they quote a different price to the one displayed on the site, This is due to having extra taxes and flying ...
