    Lufthansa airline does not cater for tall people - i was unable to choose a fire-exit seat. ended up sitting in an aisle-seat with legs trapped between armrest and front seat/down aisle - this must have been annoying for flight attendants due to them having to ask someone to move for me to sit in a window seat with seat in front missing, which left some legroom.

    no flight entertainment for 12 hours! yes the flight departed at 2300, but still. they just had a small screen dangling from ceiling with whatever was showing at the time.

    staff were friendly though

    Lufthansa business class seats are, by far, the least comfortable seats of all the airlines I've flown. They are hard as a rock and cannot be configured in a way that is comfortable to any under 6 feet tall. The seats curves at the wrong angles cutting off circulation to your legs. When you choose the "bed" position, it is not flat but yet sloped at an extreme angle down. Couple the angle with the slippery fabric, you are constantly losing grip and sliding down the seat and winding up at the ...

    I LOST $762.00!! Worst frickin airline EVER!! Lufthansa should just do us all a favor and file bankruptcy! The second worse customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I lost $762.00 frickin dollars because I booked a flight through Orbitz.com and on that ticket...they said that their was a "clause" in the purchase agreement that said NO REFUNDS, if they did, they surely didn't make the FONT big enough!!

    I like the customer service Orbitz.com provides, but I'm on hold with Orb ...

    Airlines can't control the weather !. I knew as I got to Heathrow that the flight would be late - FOG!. I was due to leave at 1420 for Frankfurt, but the earlier flight were all late and this was the same aircraft. When it was time to go to the gate, the aircraft had a damaged tyre and needed a new one. We left at 1701 (nearly 3 hours late)and arrived about 2hr 1/2 hours late. I cant' blame Lufthansa, I dont see how they could have solved the problem !

    This was the worst flight I have ever taken. Food was very little and terrible. They did not have enough non veg food, hence forced passengers to eat the veg food that was left. No in-flight entertainment. Unpleasant, brash and unfriendly cabin crew. Toilet paper was substandard! Overall- terrible. Will not recommend this Lufthansa airline to anyone!

    Luftansa to Frankfurt from LAX was cramped, unpleasant, bathroom was dirty and crew was not pleasant. The PA system was not audible & the television was over the doorway pass through & the one over our side of the aircraft did not function for half the flight, so we had no instructions, emergency annoucements or info before take off.     Lufthansa made a mistake w/my child ticket and we had a problem to get on the plane in Frankfurt. Employee was rude and let us wait with crying child for half an hour, screaming my child will damage her phone, you are late (we had connecting flight), etc. In US parents witch children have priority, in Germany other people cut the line and they did not mind. We have been treated very badly by staff.

    Very very bad customer service. My wife and 3 kids travelled from india to usa. They reached chicago airport at around 12:30 pm thru lufthansa. Their connecting flight was very much delayed like nearly 12 hours.     Bangkok - Frankfurt - Miami. Lufthansa Economy. Just don't do it ! Very uncomfortable due to minimal leg space. Terrible journey. Safety would surely be an issue with such narrow seat pitch? Observed a passenger in window seat actually climbing over seats in front to get to his seat!Unbelievably bad.

    Flew London-Berlin charged 400 Euros for a second bag. That's a price of a ticket. They did not care one bit, simply sent me their "sorry we cant help" emails. Terrible, I'll go out of my way to avoid them.

    I'm very thankful that i flew in lufthansa. My kid fell ill onboard.. she couldn't breathe as her oxygen level went down...fortunately they had o2 cylinders ...she was on o2 for almost 6 hrs when flying from chennai to frankfurt..and an Oncologist who was travelling to sweden for a conference diagnosed pneumonia and advised me to stay at frankfurt hospital for 3 or 4 days.     I traveled from Toronto to Muscat with Lufthansa on March 4 via Frankfurt. I found that the food was not well prepared at all (even though they claim they have best chefs in the world according to an email they sent me later) , seating were small and did not fit me well so I was uncomfortable the entire way and did not sleep because of that.     Flew Philadelphia - Frankfurt - Lagos and back with Lufthansa. Good service, smooth ride, would fly with again. Friendly, accommodating staff... on time flight.

    I booked a seat on Lufthansa from Toronto to Tehran. On January 26, 2009, I cancelled the ticket, which requires a payment of $ 200 fine. I would expect to receive the rest of my money back; however, after more than ten days, I have as yet seen no refund.     In my recent flight my name appeared on both the passengers names!!! The Customer service representative told me that this was my mistake and that I have to pay a full ticket to correct it! And the price of it .... 1295 pounds! These guys are ridiculous. Not flexible. Not helpful. I would not recommend you fly with these guys. Their service is the worst ever!

    I flew LH from ARN-FRA-YVR for my Grandfathers funeral. I was able to get a last minute ticket quite cheap. I don't remember much of the flight going to Vancouver, but coming home we were served a small meal after take-off, then nothing for over 7 hours! When I went to the back and asked if there were any leftovers buns from lunch I was told they had only chocolate and pretzels. Absolutely horrible for a 10 hour flight! I will only fly LH again if in a serious pinch.

    I have flown Lufthansa First Class from LAX - FRA and FRA - LAX at least a dozen times now. Even though their First Class cabin is not as modern or as luxurious as some of the other European/Asian airlines, they have always provided great service and the new First Class Terminal in FRA is top-notch. Being in the aviation business myself I feel very comfortable on their flights knowing that I am flying on a well maintained and well crewed aircraft. But my last flight was a complete disaster.     Flew recent transatlantic and intra-europe segments on LH and cannot say enough good about the experience. Professional cabin crew. Fabulous food on long-haul, very good food on short segments. On-time.

    I am extremely appalled by the apathetic and incompetent customer service that Lufthansa manages to offer to passengers whose luggage they have misplaced! I just took a business trip from San Francisco to Berlin via Munich. When I arrived in Berlin, I waited for more than an hour for my missing luggage which Lufthansa initially led me to believe that it did arrive with my flight. Even so I was not bothered because I had encountered quite a few times of delayed luggage before with other airlines ...
