The Vango Diablo 900 tent, is excellent kit highly recomended

Used 3 times this summer twice during wet and windy weekends not a drop came through very secure and sturdy Bit of hassel first time to erect but DVD walks you through it well
Recomend a seperate ground sheet just as protection against rough ground and stones
But a 5 star tent for a family

The Vango diablo 900 what an amazing tent easy to erect very large and spacious and yet so easy to erect I can only think the previous reviewer did not have a 900 as they are a 9 man tent infatc you could fit another 4 in the middle takes us 20-30 mins max to erect as is double skinned but that adds to the durability and protection from the elements WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT A LARGE EASY TO ERECT AND DURABLE TENT

We bought our Vango Diablo 600 almost 4 years ago, and have used it about 10 times. I must agree it is one of the hardest tents to erect despite doing so by the two of us.

The positive side to it thought is, it's quite roomy, fantastic entrance which we use as our kitchen area, ideal if you have young children in terms of the space/safety it offers.

The negative sides are, the poles do not last as long - ie, splits, crack, bends. The pole sleeves are not of a toughened/durable material henc ...

Vango Diablo 900 is a Great tent, bought it in 2007 and used it in 2008 for a week holiday in Cornwall. Tent has loads of room for us 2 adults and an 11 year old boy, pleanty of space for him to bring a friend too and still leave us a spare room for storage.

We have had a Vango Diablo 600 for over 5 years. Adolescent daughter and pubescent son mean that we are having to upgrade to a 900! Otherwise we would never have changed it. I spend a lot of time on campsites as a DofE Award leader and I have yet to see a tent that I would swap for the Vango Diablo.
Excellent in poor weather (Dumfries & Gales away!). As a family of four on holiday we are usually joined by elderly relations during the day and even in inclement weather we are easily and comfort ...

We have the Vango Diablo 900 XP - fantastic tent, plenty of room, reasonably easy to put. have used it about 3 times now.

However, find it difficult to pack the tent away in the wheel case that it came in - especially the inner tent that goes in the top part of the case - why couldnt they make the bottom and top of the case the same size ??? Struggled to put the ground sheet in the porch part to get it to fit nicely. Any idea's would be appreciated.

The size was great, it's massive, but we were very disappointed with the stitching.

The Vango Diablo 900 is a very strong tent. Only problem is a lot of camp sites have said it's too big, but that's not the makers fault.

Have used this tent plenty of times, much easier to put up after a couple of times, can do it with 2 experienced people in 25-30 mins.

Super for four, ideal for six, comfortable for 8.

Stands up to bad weather no problem, a tardis inside!

I have spent many years camping and would recommend this comprehansive family tent to anyone who is patient and devoted to camping!! Excellent weather proofing as demonstrated to us in the horendous weather in July 2007. We were watertight in the main tent area. There were some leakages in the 'kitchen' area.
Excellent family tent, plenty of space and useful velcro points for electric light cable. Allows all the mod cons!

The Vango Diablo 900 is just a wonderful tent. Some negative comments from miserable park owners when we turn up and they whinge it is too big. If they haven't asked you for dimensions then tough! If they are in the camping and caravanning business then they ought to know what is what. We have even set up a gazebo for that extra ambience! It depends on how many you have staying and how you use your tent. Hubs and I use it for just the two of us (not often enough though!)
Never think it is too bi ...

We love the size, the space, the sewn in groundsheet of the Vango Diablo 900. Can be too big for some camp-sites!! A great tent for any family, plenty of space.

Although the space is great once it's up, I dread next using it due to erection 'challenges' and concerns over quality. I suppose if you need space for 9 then fine. If not I'd recommend to go for something more compact or more robust in quality.

I have used this tent only once and the weather was perfect (hot and no rain) so I cannot comment on how it fares in bad weather (something I am to find out this year probably). It took two of us less than an hour to erect this tent having watched the DVD first. I love this tent as I took my children with me and there was plenty of room inside for us to move around without tripping over each other. The only bugs I saw inside was the odd fly but that was it. The porch is ideal for a shoe store to ...
