Swiss were terrible the customer service was non existant and there staff were flat out rude. The flight was delayed by 3 hours and we have missed 2 connecting flights which Swiss say is not there problem and they don't care. And yes thest are the words that were used.
Despite having several options to change us to another flight that would have had us meet our connections without any issues but the flatly refused.
We were told that food vouchers would be given but 3 hours later we were still sitting there with no food. The flight had been struck by lightning on the way over so there was damage to a major component that needed to be replaced they new this but said it would be a 10 minute fix 3 hours later they were still spinning lies until we finnally found out what was actually happening of course by then all the flights that could have helped us were gone. we wer also told that there ticketing staff had gone home but after 2 hours of pressing them it turns out that they were there all the time, just another lie.
What a dreadful experiance not to mention we are now over $1000 out of pocket due to Swiss Airlines incompetance.
DO NOT FLY WITH THEM! I have flown 72 flights this year and 2 with Swiss, these 2 flights were the worst flights I have ever had

This was our first experience with SWISS Air, and will be our last. The business class seat comfort is no comparison to Singapore air. The service is merely on par with what we would get from the Economy class flying other airlines. The worst experience was flight cancellation. Their attitute is 'we don't like this as much as you do, so deal with it.' Don't even bother to write a complaint letter, as you are only wasting your own time. Lucky if you can get your expense back (any expense you incu ...- Read Guest's review (111 words)

Just put my 24 yr. old son on a flight Florence-Zurich-Shanghai, where he will live for the next 2 years studying Mandarin. Yesterday we tried repeatedly to call Swiss Air in Florence to check baggage allowance rules and nobody answered. Their website was also down for about 5 hours and we finally discerned late last night that the allowance was 2 bags at 23 Kilos each. Arrived at airport this morning with exactly 45 Kilos between the two bags and the check in personnel told us the total limi ...- Read Guest's review (247 words)

Swiss International Air Lines require you to check in 30 minutes before departure at City airport which is silly - other airlines such as Air France, BA only require you to arrive 10 - 15 05mins!!! If you cancel a flight they are incredibly hesitant to refund your taxes. 6 weeks now I am waiting!! They ignore your emails, fail to communicate or offer any explanation.. bad experience.
Bad customer service! Lack of thought for customer.- Read Guest's review (79 words)

This was my first time flying coach with Swiss Air, and I wouldn't want to do it again. I think the seating arrangement is terrible, and they should re-design it so passengers aren't cramped. Business class is much nicer, the seats are larger and you have much more leg room.- Read tropics88's review (108 words)

Absolutely the worst seats in the industry. Also really bad customer service. 1) When travelling Swiss air to Zurich, I started of in Luxembourg airport. It was the weekend before xmas, and there was quite a queue at the airport check in desk. Took about 30 minutes to check in.2) Awful seats. The seats on the short flight to Zurich where cramped and extra thin. On the ZRH-BKK flight, the seats where super thin too, and there was no leg room what so ever. I was unable to change seating position t ...- Read EN184's review (214 words)

Have flown Swiss a few times - in my experience high priced and mediocre airline. At least with budget airlines like Easyjet you get what you pay for and expect. I'll never willingly fly Swiss again..- Read berlin72's review (117 words)

Forcing people to use self service check in machines - just shows absolute contempt for their customers. If the customers' experience of these self service machines was good, Swiss Air would not need to force people to use them. This completely spoils what would otherwise have been two perfectly satisfactory flights.- Read Guest's review (112 words)

Flying Birmingham to Moscow return. Booking in efficient, Desk opened on time. Baggage appeared on carousel at end of each journey despite plane changes. Final touch down on return leg 45 seconds before stated time of arrival. Very efficient booking in at Moscow Desk, contrary to that expected. Will fly Swiss Air every time provided they have the route I need. Best of all they fly Birmingham which suits me. Hate Heathrow, Gatwick etc.- Read Guest's review (89 words)

The Swiss Air first class experience is awesome... best we have ever traveled on. The attendants were awesome as well - it was like they had ESP... if you thought about something, boom... it was there. The planes were clean and staff very friendly and attentive. Can't say enough good things about Swiss Air!- Read RickandDavid's review (137 words)

Flight crew very professional and courteous, planes very clean, but their booking system is convoluted and both their New York office and ticket personnel in Zurich had a very difficult time issuing tickets when we added a change to our itinerary (1 week before flight) - we've made similar changes with US airlines and change is made in a matter of seconds - with Swiss it took around 15 phone calls and 45 minutes at ticket counter (and a lecture from lady at ticket counter). Also, I spent $26,000 ...- Read JamesGregg's review (248 words)

Be careful in case you want to change a flight. Besides the CHF 200.- for change of flight they didn't offer me a seat for weeks. Instead they told me that we cannot guarantee you a seat until and unless you pay us more to upgrade your ticket. (mine was a ticket where change of flight is possible) My two complaints to the airline customer service remained unanswered.- Read rareoffer's review (72 words)

We took a flight from Zurich to Birmingham UK. 15/1/08. This was the second leg of a flight from Vienna. The Airbus from Vienna was OK and the cabin crew looked after us well. From Zurich, they used an ancient leased BA146 which stank of exhaust fumes for most of the journey and led to many of us feeling sick. The baggage handlers broke my suitcase and I filled in the necessary forms at Birmingham in order to report the fact. Despite three attempts to sort this out with Swiss, they simply ...- Read seanobyrne's review (169 words)

I fly about 30 times a year, Swiss are by far the most consistant and best Airline I know.
The staff if friendly and helpful, not as bossy and patronizing as on BA or many other airlines.
I fly Swiss whenever I can, even if there is a slightly cheaper flight available somewhere else...it's just worth it.
Modern fleet, comfy seats, good food, great service. Couldn't ask for much more.- Read Hanshans's review (70 words and 1 comment)

suggest to the people in charge of E-booking to try several other airlines (Esayjet, Air France for instance) in order to know how to make a "user friendly" web sit reservation. Every time I want to book swiss, after a while a switch to another airlines since yr website is so complicated...
